Hey good people! As you might have noticed, I am starting a series of videos where I go through some of the warbands available in Mordheim! I am a life long player of mordheim since it first began to appear in the pages of white dwarf back in the 90’s. I’m so glad you are bringing mordheim to the attention of people who may never have played it or possibly rekindling a love of someone’s old hobby. You’re a treasure of the tabletop community dude! I`ve used the deckhands as raiders and Militia for DnD and Warhammer Fantasy battles. They are a nice kit to fool around with (greenstuff / kitbashing). Thanks for the content - I am working on my own table for about a year now. The tutorials are much appreciated!
The flagellant kit is so versatile, I love it! After I finished my witch hunter band, I was able to use loads of the leftover bits for my Sisters and my chaos band. The Clanrats kit is also great for leftover improvised weapons in Mordheim.
I really like this introduction! If you get around to using some of those Archipelago crewmen to form a pirate themed warband, I'd be very interested how you build them and which faction you choose to represent them as well... 😊
Nice, I used the Hexbane Hunters as a base for my Witch Hunters as well. The minis just have such a great character and really feel like a bunch of religious zealots hunting witches in old Salem. My zealots were some of my Frostgarve soldiers I still had left over. I used a Reaper Miniature... a cleric with a hammer holding a book... as my warrior priest. I didn't have any minis that really fit the Flagellants. Cash is tight right now, so I just opted not to take any and just took more zealots instead. The next force I'm planning on working on are Skaven. I have a bunch of rat men models from Reaper that will work, so I'm just going to use them. Once again, your Mordheim table is sick. Just REALLy freaking nice.
Rewatching for a second time. :) I ended up going with all the same heroes to maximize loot, 3 zealots with bows, and a bunch of doggies. I loved sending the pack against heroes and watching my opponent freak out.
GW & Vallejo paints for me too, usually a grey primer then block colour, wash, then layer back colour and highlights.. non of those watery new speed paints to kill the grey tides of unpainted shame haunting bedrooms around the world, no.. proper paint that gets thicker with age, like me. Wish I could give you more than one thump up, I really enjoyed this and rewatched it (probably will later too). Fun intro. Another great warband, those Frostgrave minis blend in really well with the rabble. I got little thrill rush when you started putting the table together, daft smile on my face.. Mordheim, once it gets under your skin, like the taint of warpstone, it'll never leave you.

Hi! Im a big fan and excited to learn about Mordheim! I'm from the US and say FLA-gellants. fla-GELL-ants sounds like little protozoa things with whippy tails, grooving around a petri dish.
I agree with that Jan... well I think so at least. I sort of feel like everything does exist at the moment e.g. the rules etc on Broheim.net! But more videos are coming! 👍😅

@@DevsDice you should check these two skermish games called DeepWars and ShadowSea. The figures are awesome. Nothing like Game workshop. Deepwars you have an army of an ancient civilization with robots. You have underwater pirates with a submarine, a mutated humans, mermaids. ShadowSea is the land version you have pirates, lizard men, a cult who worship the dark arts, a female army with beast men. You can have dragons, fungus zombies, giants, trolls, robots, dinosaurs. The company makes 3D files too.

@@DevsDice i was asking more about places to grab bits for fantasy weapons that would fit the warband. My playgroup doesn't worry about wysiwyg so I was looking for where to procure bits.

I typically go with the flə-jĕl′ənt - putting the 'juh' sound to the second, discernable syllable, with a pause between syllables. A tighter pronunciation produces a word that sounds too much like flatulent, which is a completely different sort of abuse.
Flagellants are the way to go with this warband. The zealots are a waste of coin. Witch hunters for the guns, The crazy's for the close and personal stuff. Use the dogs as screens for the leader, and work in team.

@@DevsDice you should check these two skermish games called DeepWars and ShadowSea. The figures are awesome. Nothing like Game workshop. Deepwars you have an army of an ancient civilization with robots. You have underwater pirates with a submarine, a mutated humans, mermaids.
ShadowSea is the land version you have pirates, lizard men, a cult who worship the dark arts, a female army with beast men. You can have dragons, fungus zombies, giants, trolls, robots, dinosaurs. The company makes 3D files too.

I typically go with the flə-jĕl′ənt - putting the 'juh' sound to the second, discernable syllable, with a pause between syllables. A tighter pronunciation produces a word that sounds too much like flatulent, which is a completely different sort of abuse.

Flagellants are the way to go with this warband. The zealots are a waste of coin.
Witch hunters for the guns, The crazy's for the close and personal stuff. Use the dogs as screens for the leader, and work in team.
