I played this on my phone real loud on my deck and the pair of bluebird in our neighbors birdhouse went absolutely nuts. Especially the male. I had to stop because if was interfering with them catching food for their young. We opened the box and there was 4 babies. They were pretty big.
DIY repurposed Bluebird feeder. So easy and you probably already have what you need. I use a "tomato box" or berry box that you get when you buy them at the store. I fill with about 1/2 cup of dried mealworms and attach to a pole, plant hanger, another feeder or what ever you have. I use zip ties or long twist ties and position it so that gravity moves them down as the birds eat. The little holes in the container allow the birds to pick them out. The snap lid on top keeps them mostly dry... even in driving rain and I replace it for free when it starts to look dirty. Although not necessary, I fed a twig through the holes so they have a perch. I've been doing this successfully for more than 5 years
Beautiful video. This evening I realized there were about four or so Eastern Bluebirds around me near the front door to my home. I could hear one singing across the road in the orchard.
Beautiful video! Loved watching the colorful bluebird flying away and returning to the post. Enjoyed listening to the bird calls and drumming of a nearby woodpecker!
In Wisconsin every year there around, including the Common Loon which is my favorite water bird, I just love to listen to there chilling voices at night. There such a beautiful bird. But also the sad thing is that when a mountain bluebird comes where it is warm, they die to quick.
I really like the way you put this video together and the sound quality is high level. I'm trying to coax bluebirds to my backyard but the bluebird house I put up this spring now has nesting sparrows in it. I'm learning different ways to attract them with feeders and food so I'm not giving up...
+Jeff Stone This was the first and only bluebird nest I've ever had in my yard. Unfortunately, the baby birds were eaten by stray cats released into my yard (against my wishes) by the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.

I trap them and they drop them right back in front of my house. So frustrating!!!
I didn't know he was going to do yoga for the first 45 seconds. I've got one that has a thing for his reflection in my office window at home. He can be quite a pest.
Love video, can you tell me if they are on a fountain ball? I’d love to make or purchase that. I’ve scouted around, not sure of what they’re perched on.

Extraordinary blue birds. I just saw 2 blue birds in my BACKYARD which is full of bird nests and blue bird boxes
Beautiful video.
0:30 that adorable yoga stretch. And That morning dove making a cameo 😍 lol
Kayla Rainbow-Crab Mourning dove - its name comes from its call. 😓
That dove was a White Winged Dove.

Bluebirds adore mealworms.

Very attractive little fellow. Great singer! Wish we had them where I live. :)

+FrontYardVideo Stray cats released in your yard by the Humane Society? Why in the world would they do something like that?

That's unfortunate, sorry to hear about that. You try and do a good deed and it comes back to bite you. I hope you don't give up!
the squirrel..... lol
the first 90 seconds of audio are not eastern bluebirds
correct. I heard northern cardinals and downy woodpeckers or red bellied woodpecker.
I didn't know he was going to do yoga for the first 45 seconds. I've got one that has a thing for his reflection in my office window at home. He can be quite a pest.
What is the chiming a bird around 1:05 to 1:10?
The chirping is so loud!!!
i played this and a red bird flew straight pass me very slow 😂
Reminds me of the blackbirds song
Thanks from the cats🐯🐱😺
+Crazy Funny Cats My pleasure!
The bluebirds are elusive in this part of Western N.Y.
I know they're here. But I want to study the various calls. Where do they like to nest?
Beautiful exceptionally well made footage !! Thanks for sharing!

Nice but we don’t really hear the bluebird until about 1:30
Does anyone know the bird call from 1:08 - 1:10?
Carolina Wren
