hoping you'll answer, as its been a while since you've uploaded anything and im not sure you still ride! but i just watched your other video on the lust racing links and now im wondering how the bike felt when you had it raised. I can SEE the difference for sure and it looks good but did it affect handling and if so, how?
I probably can't answer that truefully. I probably didn't start riding to the bikes potential after a good 6 months, well after I had installed the links. But I am very glad I did. It just felt better when I sat on it stationary and my knees weren't bent. Just that alone to me, being taller than your average bear, made the bike feel better. But yeah with regards to handling.... I might be able to answer that in a few months as my Mrs is now riding the Ninja and it will have the stock links put back in shortly.
I just bought a white 2013 model with this exhaust. Mine seems really loud to me and I'm hoping I dont get a ticket in case theres a baffle missing and I don't know about it. Maybe it's just me.
Any issues with backfiring or the bike cutting out? .. I didn't think there would be but some guys are saying that they needed to get a PC-5 or a flash-tune?
Fair bit of backfiring, but I like it. Never ever had my bike stall or cut out on me, even before the ICU recall. I also have the K&N Air filter, so with this exhaust, I've had a couple of people tell me I should get it re-tuned but to be honest, that was in the early days and I see 19/20 Ninja's with slip on's and none of them have been re-tuned.
hey, it seems like a great exhaust but is it ok if there is a passenger behind? cause it seems to go really high behind the bike and near the passenger's peg
I'm still on my restrictions so I can't carry a passenger. Hence why I have a seat cowl on. But to be honest, I'd say it would be a problem and you would have to make up a new bracket to bring the angle down.
As apposed to a stock exhaust? Definitely. People hear me coming from behind so I don't get cut off. That's the biggest draw card. Can get a big droney though if it is only highway riding you do. Probably would prefer stock then.
I have just ordered myself a pair of these slip-ons for my zzr having made judgement from the sound of yours. I am thinking it should be good noise level and note.
I really want to get this but like you don't wanna spend a ton. How do you compare the sound with two brothers or yoshimura, not the price (I know they are pricier) but just the sound ?
did you notice a big difference in the sound of the bike while riding? bout time to get rid of the stock exhaust and get something that sounds a little more meaty. just not sure which Avenue to go down.
Absolute legend mate just ordered one for mine 😃
Mountain hwy! fuck yes :p
I like the sound to this. At 1/2 the pric of a TB it's seems like a great choice.
Bikers lookout for one another, awesome. :)
Take the baffle out so much better... Nice vid

It it loud. But you can pop it up into 6th gear even at 60kmph and just idle your way past said Nazi's

Hey man, thanks for the info ! I’m thinking of getting one as well.

adamutuber ok thank you very much, Also after almost a year of riding with this exhaust are you still satisfied?

adamutuber ok thank you very much

How did you go? Happy with em?
They are a really nice slip-on easy install, nut is a little loose on the bolt butother then that very happy
I just bought the slip on for my ninja. Was just wondering weather the exhaust is road legal in Australia (NSW). Have you had any trouble with police.
adamutuber got my exhaust a week ago and a few days later the carbon wrap started splintering/cracking.
Aidan Stratford Well that sucks, mine sits out in the sun all summer and hasn't done that. Maybe send it back?
Yeah they sent a replacement on Monday.
+adamutuber the bike maintains his power with the exhaust? wich is better, standar or musarri exhaust? thanks.
Javier Legarda Only a dyno could tell you that.
sound great, and i just bought mine. ^^
Awesome video mate. I'm in Melb too... tossing up between Leo Vince or the Musarri
Go the cheapest, all the same on this engine
Hey mate is this with the "baffle/silencer" fitted? thinking of buying one, but don't want it to be too loud
I really want to get this but like you don't wanna spend a ton. How do you compare the sound with two brothers or yoshimura, not the price (I know they are pricier) but just the sound ?
Mark1Mach2 A keen ear might hear a difference but they all sound 97% the same because of it only being a 300.
adamutuber Thanks man I did end up getting this exhaust and to me the sound is just awesome! I wouldn't even bother comparing with other exhausts now.
I know which exhaust im getting, cheers for the vid mate!
The racing item on your column, is that just a sticker or some sort of component?
Just a sticker I got with my Lust Racing Suspension Links. The bikes been raised 1 inch. Was to cover the speedo from the Nazi's here in Victoria.
They also come in green, which kinda of looks ridiculous.
one question though, does it have it's baffle on? or off?
+winghunter08 No baffle in on this video. It does change the sound a little, enough to make me not want it in. Less grunt.
+adamutuber hey adam, thanks. does the baffle affect the bike in any ways(like backfire) ? cheers.
Looking at one of these myself is there a power gain or loss??
Dandenong Ranges?
Yep, that road is the one that heads into Sassafrass
Does the badge sit flush or does it eventually peel up around the rivets?
where did the buy the exhaust
kangaroo valley NSW? ?
The Basin, Vic

Baffle out?
I’d have to get used to Driving on the opposite side of the street 😂
Yep :) They all sound the same
Where do I get this exhaust in aus or nz ?
ebay - as far as I remember I think they also sell it in Aus.
sounds just like my yoshimura slip on. i paid 500 for mine.
