Just picked up my first Heritage hanger from Walgreens and love the throwback design, pulled an Endy Rodriguez ROA blue ink RC. I hate the sticker autos, so happy they are on card autos🤩

Nice job! I’m a huge heritage fan. Hobby has had exclusive for years, black are the black border paper stock not numbered in the past. Retail has been good as well but I am a buyer of hobby. Let’s hope that it’s better than the past two years.

Just getting back into card collecting after many years I grabbed quite a few topps series 1 mlb cards cause the hangers where so much fun but the store was out of them and just had to rip open some packs. Lol. Grabbed my first heritage 2023 blaster at Walgreens for the heck of it and pulled a Corey Seager throwback. Ready for the new year heritage now. ⚾️
Bought my first baseball packs in many moons right around opening day with some Heritage High Number 2023 I found at Target. I pulled a Jordan Walker blue auto in my first mega box! Looking forward to this new set and learning more about card collecting today. Subscribed!

I got a Throwback Zach Greinke in 2023 High Number, had no idea how rare it was until looking at the odds. Last year's was 1:11,000+ packs. This year it's better at 1:8,500 or so. Have two Megas and a Hobby on the way. Love the Heritage set. Love Series 1 as well, modern and throwback desires both satiated.
Problem is, you're paying $105 on the first run for a hobby box with cards that have poor to zero resale a lot of the time and the hits are awful. I'd rather wait more and pay more for Archives. I break down exactly what I spend and make back. I actually made money buying Stadium Club this year. Last year, I literally lost $12 buying a case of Archives. That's it. I get these for my son and I to open and we've never done anything but give the cards to other kids and be unimpressed. THAT SAID, I'll check them out this year as your channel has been interesting so far and you've made some valid points here. Appreciate the content.
Thanks for the kind words Matt! I’ll be transparent, I’ve only made money on heritage once in my life, and that was off two blaster cases of 2022 heritage. I sold those comic cards super early when they were very popular and got lucky with a couple other pulls. Most years heritage is a loss, but I have a good feeling about this year!
@westernnycards Well, to go into opening boxes thinking you'll make money is silly (I get lucky), so I know that. I try to mitigate how much though. I was killing it buying only hangers of Series 1 this year, and then the drop hit. Yellow cards go from a few bucks to worthless in a week. Halt all buying. Lol
Yeah, with Heritage the Mega Boxes with Blue Sparkle are the most fun. Hobby is fine if I just want to try to get all the cards, but heck...eBay can take care of that problem when the guy buying cases of Heritage sells off the base cards, insert sets, and SPs. My lone 2023 (1974) Heritage Hobby box was not that exciting for paying full price at the jump.
The Hobby Black is a Paper Stock (#/75) - difficult to Grade. Topps Heritage is challenging to Grade because of the Paper Stock - even the Chromium are hard to Gem with PSA. Good luck on your quest with 2024 Topps Heritage! 🤓⚾️

I broke a case of 2022 High Number a couple weeks ago and only got 4 autos but one of them was Oneil Cruz. So I can't be too mad about it!

From toppsproductionbb the black border are roughly limited to 50 and are paper stock. The black chrome cards are /75.
