Ryan, you're doing something very special here... those who's ears are open hear you very clearly. The internet is its own form consciousness and it should be used in the manner you manage your channel, as a way to unite and promote the awareness of human consciousness & to benefit humanity. The fact that you do this with no fees or dollar signs attached is incredible.
Thanks to you, ive been able to comprehend and take action on the many changes needed to be able to embark on this journey that is Kriya; the devotion you've described in this video has become fully present in my daily effort to know myself.
I feel obligated to support you through purchasing your work; the direction you've provided me thus far certainly warrants some sort of retribution in your favor... I believe the only way to ever fully repay you for the love you've shown is to pay it forward... hopefully one day i'll reach a point of understanding that allows me to teach others in such a manner.
I extend the expression Namaste to you in its fullest capacity... thank you SO much!

@@KriyaYogaOnline Hi Ryan, thanks for asking! I had forgotten this but it is still relevant....sometimes it seems like circles and suddenly im back in the spot I thought I had left. Practice intensifies and then Bam...back on the floor...Today I was looking for a yellow book of yours to find the first sutra...i took the wrong book though yellow but not the one I intended and there I read a few lines about the connection to sun and moon cycles...I took comfort in that and gave me some hope that the circles at least lead upwards and that someday this mountain shall be climbed...Although I have not been on your channel so much as I used to do you are still present and helping out. Thanks for a great channel and again thanks for asking! now time for Kriya, take care~

Stumbled onto this video. Have been on this path for 10 years and what you said resonated well with me. Self-Realization Fellowship monks do not recommend talking about anything just reading the text alone or with others. Although there is value in this, I have felt the need to ask questions sometimes about this challenging process that Kriya yoga practice can be. Some of what you said here was a great reminder, in simple words, of what is so easy to loose track of sometimes. So thank you for doing this. I am looking forward to keep unlearning these habits that are in the way of being the fullest expression of who I truly am. And I sense that your own expression will support my ongoing journey! Keep up the good work!:)

Great video. Ramana Maharshi had what most would consider sudden enlightenment; so, it can happen, but wanting that is a goal or desire and therefore a mold that takes away the formlessness we observe in those who've reached samadhi

I received a spontaneous spiritual experience several times, and one especially in the summer of 1978. After this peak experience I at first thought that i was experiencing the holy spirit, then Abraham Maslow and his coined "Peak Experience" and then I discovered that yogi's can attain this state of being at will. It is called samadhi, or in Japan Satori.

I left SRF after 30 years as a Kriyaban due to what I felt was betrayal by the church organization. After 15 years gone I'm being drawn back to the peace.

    • @DebraJEAN472
      @DebraJEAN472 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

+Jen G. I discovered a lot of gossip and power struggles within the organization. Four years I was consulted by yogananda's direct disciples and when they were in charge they managed to keep everything status quo, and help keep ridiculous things out of the teachings comma such as wearing sunglasses makes you look suspect . I have too many examples. As they passed away and others took over, they were no longer, sincere and changed the teachings to benefit their egos. I served convocation and received kriya yoga from Sri Daya Mata, and I believe because I was in the Inner Circle for so long I was able to see behind the curtain and it wasn't the Wizard of Oz. If you stay out of the service and just follow the original teachings, not the reprints, you'll be closer to the heart of God. I as well knew elderly friends of yogananda's who never entered the group. They told me stories quelled by monks and nuns after his death, going so far as to try to retrieve all their pictures of him. Bless you.

While we are here in Maya (the plane of duality) it is helpful to have an image for tuning into the divine conciousness...that is what Yogananda teaches
If you had really read the Gita or the Vedas you would know that the Gods and Godesses in Hinduism represent different aspects of creation....Divine Mother is the unconditional love aspect of God represented in Nature (Prakriti) which gives to all regardless of your spiritual state......

I really enjoy Ryan Kurczak's videos although I have a comment about his appraisal of devotion to Baghavati Devi or Lord Vishnu/Krishna and other Mahadevas as being a stepping stone to enlightenment. Yogananda, Ramakrishna and other great souls may have experienced their Ishtadevas as "kindergarten" level spirituality but there were other enlightened souls who experienced the opposite. Sri Ramanujacharya, Sri Nimbarkacharya, the four Kumaras and others rose to the level of the formless Reality but came away with a different conclusion; they experienced that the Mahadevas were not bound by prakrithi, but were indeed Transcendental, eternal, beyond the reach of maya and that having an eternal loving relationship with Them was by far more blissful and complete than non-dual Self-Realization only. To me this is a mystery. That is, how one enlightened soul experiences the highest Reality as opposite to the way another enlightened soul experiences the highest Reality. Maybe this is where the Jain concept of Anekantavad would be instructive to both camps.

Each facet of reality is welcome to experience itself as it will...there is no better or worse in this process... just the preferences of the sense of individualized self, but its all self, or Mahadevas, or what ever you'd like to label it.

Excellent video! Thank you for posting. Is there a way for me to contact you, perhaps through email? I've had some experiences in meditation, I'd like your opinion. It's really hard to find someone with your knowledge and insight for guidance. Once again, thanks for posting. Take care!

pilgrim985 Not at this time. My days are focused on private meditation, writing and completing my astrological sessions that are scheduled about 3 months out. Anything I would be able to respond would be found in the videos in this channel or through my books.

This is so good that I had to watch it twice...you are kind of like the "mythbusters" of spirituality! Be here now in your pile of crap and engage the silence bro!

That is the sad part... that everything comes frm ourselves. I used to think Guruji kinda communicates wth me. Bt wth time I realized its my own intuition. Bt then he says "I will whisper to you through your intuition" (in the poem - when I am only a dream), so, cool still.

The kriya yoga should be taught by the srf guided swamis after the exercises suggested by master.
