Capaldi was incredible. He may not have been in everyone's favorite series, but you can never say he didn't deliver as the Doctor. I will always remember Twelve. Good video. Thanks for sharing.

or the woman who actually was the tardis soul didint like the new doctor so threw them out and during flight since it has to get used to the new doctor and doesnt reconize it as her doctor, similar as to on the episode the hungry planet most tardis's burn up as soon as they enter a body and since this one was faulty... a.k.a had a mind of its own lived longer but always took the doctor to where he needed to be

I was never a fan of Capaldi's Doctor until I gave Series 8 a go and I was wrong about him, he was the Best God Damn Doctor the Show had after David Tennants Tenth Doctor. I'll miss him so much.
Every time The Doctor regenerates it's a heartbreak for the whovians :( - "You know what's the hardest part of knowing you... Letting you go!" - I've cried since 9th.
I think the Doctors represent the traits in every human. Peter represented the abrupt, awkward, and passionate version of us who come off as unapproachable but grow into something better
12 will always be my Doctor.
I will miss Peter Capaldi. He was an amazing Doctor.

I love how when Tennant regenerated people didn't want/care for Matt Smith. Then Matt grew on us. And when Matt regenerated, people didn't want/care for Capaldi. Capaldi grew on us. and so on. I know I felt this. It's really cool to grow with a character but sad when they are ripped from our grasp to have replacement to start the cycle over again.

I wouldn't say it's the theme of 9, I'd say it's the general doctor's theme, it's a leitmotif of the opening
Capaldi took a while to find his footing but when he did, my god was he amazing. Heaven Sent episode alone was proof that he was a one man doctor show

No its literally titled "The Doctor's Theme" by Murray gold. It's with every revived doctor but predominantly 9 and 10 because of RTD. Murray Gold wrote new music for 11 (Mad man with a box, I am the Doctor, 5:02) and new music for 12 (no idea on titles for 12)

The special thats being released in october this year will be a giant summary of the massive plotline shes had over the last 3 seasons so im kinda hoping they can manage to do it ok. cant wait to see Ncuti Gatwa though, i loved him in sex education

That line sticks in my mind because Jodie's Doctor allows a old man to die and runs away in series canon destroying final for series 12, Jodie is the Doctor in name only, because she sure doesn't act like the character that we have known over the years.

This is my favorite Doctor, but to me that farewell scene wasn't as impactful as it should have been because most of what he said, he said it already the previous season when he parted ways with Clara, and the rest he said it to Bill sooo it was kinda redundant, it wasn't unique.
And in the end, it didn't really matter because i lost interest in the show and made peace with its demise >_>

I agree i honestly tried to give jodie a chance i really did but she doesnt feel or act like the doctor. Add in chibs and his political BS and a 57 year old show is dying. I like to think that as the doctor regenerates he sees the future hence why he chose his face as 12 and i want doctor who to end with it going back to peter who simply refuses and dies in the tardis

Craig A Mills Hartnell is STILL the first Doctor. The Doctor has incarnations before Hartnell, but they weren’t the Doctor. That person had their memories wiped, so it’s essentially a different person. I do know Doctor Who, you just obviously weren’t paying enough attention. Just because you personally don’t like it doesn’t mean it’s wrong. Fanboys like you just don’t like when anything changes your way of thinking. It still fits perfectly with the lore. Listen to some Seventh Doctor speeches or go watch Brain of Morbius. Or google the Cartmel Master Plan.

James Fisherkeller My G! funny thing is this vid was taken down a couple of days after I uploaded by a copyright claim from BlindWave LLC, but I submitted a counter-claim to YT, stating they don’t actually own the content their reacting to, the BBC does, & like you’ve said I’m taking a small piece of reaction, not the entire episode, not the post-commentary/thoughts, so it’s Fair Use, also I link each reactors account in the description so I’m giving them publicity/promoting their channel, so essentially they had 30days to take me to court or the vid would be restored-which is what happened

He didn’t steal content, he took one part of a reaction to one particular moment in an episode. Content and reactions aren’t the same thing. This doesn’t violate any copyright issues, and clearly he pays for FailWhale’s patreon, so it really isn’t a big deal at all.

Yeah man, I'm still watching Jodie's seasons. I got 3 episodes left. Her acting is fine, nothing special but it's not bad. But I feel like there is no personality to the 13th so far. I don't wanna give you a biased opinion before watching it, but just know you don't really know the Doctor very much until about halfway through her second season.

Clearly there was a problem but unless you get to see jodie as the doctor under a better showrunner, you can't discount the possibility that she added to the problem.... to me, she can clearly do drama (she was good in broadchurch) but I think she underestimate the versatility needed for the role of the doctor and almost treated it as a kids show (as opposed to family)... smith and tennant for example goofed around with the best if them, but on occasion they were able to change gear and introduce a gravitas that made you believe they meant business.... we'll never know if jodie was capable of that... I think it was a step too far for her, you think it's the writing... the truth is probably a bit of both...
