In my 435 months on this earth, this was the episode I've been waiting for and never even knew it. You guys are crushing it, keep on pushing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great to see Jeron's first interview, The way everyone was hyped up in the studio little wonder he had to become a regular the chilled but motivated attitude suits this line up. Keep on with the Great shows
It was 1998 and Jeron and a few other heads came to town and i got Jerons autograph. I was starstruck. Dude is such a nice bloke. He deserves all the success! Like Chris he has a soft wolverine purring voice.
+armin38822 bigger names? not arguing with u but they had Prod, Jamie Foy, Jereme R, they're doing people we havent heard a million times. plus its not really a party like weekend buzz... some people wouldnt be right 4 this show. there's other skate shows with all kinds of people.
Daniel Simon with big names I wasn't thinkin about the new kids. They had Gino on ..that's a big name for me. I like to listen to all skaters but in the begining is nice to have some bigger names so you get a bigger following and once they are hooked then is easier to ''introduce '' them to new skaters/guests.
Another great Interview. Jeron seems SO nice and friendly. :) The opening line in "Virtual Reality" + the Beatles Song still give me a shiver to this day. All hail to you guys, you do a great job. It would be super awesome to see more interviews with OGs like Carroll, Rickk, Wray, etc. Best from Germany!
Awesome! Jeron is one of my all time favorite skaters. Super under rated. I still regularly watch his parts in the friends section of Virtual Reality, FTC Finally and Goldfish.
I like that you guys place product and items in the background that tie in to your interviewees, such as Jerons board on the wall or the pictures in the bookshelf. Besides great audio content, each show has had visual background items for us to check out.
This is the most magical show on TH-cam. I dig Reda's cameo appearance and the sound quality is on point. You guys could probably do a live show with an audience in a few months.
Chris Roberts, you're slowly becoming the best interviewer in skateboarding right now. I look forward to these every week. Also a big fan of your skating, in a time when the handrails/big gaps type of skating ruled the skate world in the early 00s I was always more into techy ledge/manny pad type of skating, and you were always one of the more stylish dudes in my opinion that was in that realm of skating at that time. anyways, keep up the rad work on these!
+SweetAndSourPlums dude, thank you for that! Much appreciated.! I've never interviewed or thought of interviewing anyone. I like to think of it as a conversation, getting to know someone! -Crob
504 months old here. |-] Great episode, keep 'em comin! Am I the only 1 wishing there were 2 episodes weekly..? Also, It's called 'The Nine Club' ..we need our 2016 SLS Champ on an episode, no?
Putting him on the show was an insanely intelligent choice bc I’m 33 and before I broke my spine and had to get my whole lower spine fused then came back better than ever and was again in conversation to be sponsored I shattered my feemer tibia and fibula and had to get a finial plateau reconstruction and had a metal plate grinding against my knee cap when I skated, I skated with Jerome Wilson at pole green skatepark in Hanover county at a dvs demo and after the demo him and all the other people skating at it signed my dvs poster and i was landing on 360 flips over the big ass ten stair bank and i front smith front big spin out the rail and I nose manual Nollie backside big spin out the box. But after I got in his way and ran into him once I felt like a dick but once in a lifetime opportunity I then asked him to sign my board and I could tell he was frustrated bc of all of the little kids grabbing at him and being weird but he was always just nice as hell and respectful and I thought that was so cool that I got some clips in the Jerome Wilson pro model dvs shows and i can’t remember if they were the 3s but they were the best shoes I ever skated they were white with brown suede that bordered the toe cap and went down in 2 stripes on either end of the lace area and it wrapped around the back of the heel area on the top and bottom and just had a tiny Dvs logo on the back bottom side of the ankle. But I remember they were the first skate shows I had where I could feel the board so well through the sole that I could legit almost grip my toes on the side of my board for inward heels and manual tricks too man I all of the sudden could actually feel the ball of my foots placement on the back of the bolts/ tail so that my sense of balance when I was getting into manuals was just like all of the sudden I didn’t just get into manuals and worry about the pressure and hope my footing was right to do what I needed to do I could actually feel wirh my foot was and make like a slight adjustment to make sure I was catching and putting the board down on rails and jumping down stairs correctly. Dude it’s so crazy bc I just discovered this show simply bc before I had that plate removed 6 years after I got it bc a staph infection developed on that plate I couldn’t skate for those years and bc it legitimately felt like the absolute end of my life when I knew I couldn’t deal with that plate rubbing when I tried to skate with it in and I knew it wouldn’t work bc it hurt damn bad but I tried everything I could to take my mind off of skateboarding bc I felt like everytime I watched a anything having to do with skateboarding after that and felt that surge of adrenaline and was inspired and then started visualizing that new trick at that new spot , I felt like I would get punched in gut and it was like losing skateboarding all over again. But it’s so cool thet skaters have this now.
There was a kid named Michael Lidkie in my highschool, but everyone called him Lidkie. I was new to the school, and everyone called him Lidkie, so I only knew him as Lidkie. Took me from Sophomore to Senior year to finally learn his name was Michael. Funny how nicknames work
9:23 they do it in months for kids under 2 years or sometimes up to three years because of certain developmental milestones that are expected to be seen and normal childhood growth patterns in the first 3 years.
Not sure how to feel about this one, no mention of the switch flip manny. Crob is getting tired, maybe the new thing is asking for boxes or recruiting a co-host :P Jeron is one of the cleanest ever, he has that Suga Free vibe to him. Diamond just makes so much sense with this guy behind the wheel. I would love to see the Nine Club crew attempt a full workout with Biebel! Maybe Crob will develop some muscle
I watch the same shows as Jerome Wilson ha ha that’s whats up! Great episode guys!¡ So I’m thinking though and twine Antwon Dixon, Jake Duncomebe, PJ Ladd, Tyler Bledsoe and Garret Hill, Carlos Ruiz maybe...
But in 2008 I had just started skating with Gilbert Crocket at a couple of spots in Richmond and i heard he was pro and I skated with Trent hazel wood. Don’t know if you guys know those guys but for what it’s worth.
yall talking about blind and such not got to get ronnie creager and james craig on, also great episode, i enjoy when you get a lil older skaters that i grew up loving
Here in 2021 watching Jeron as a guest!!!
Same lol didn’t know he had an episode
@@jerwinn_26 Had to go back to the archives hahaha
Bro whaat i was like "damn his voice was way different" but hes probably just more comfortable on the show now
Same it’s trippy
Jaron is kool af! I'm glad he is on all the time now. His opinion is means something
52:51 "If you ever want to be the co-host, man." Fast forward 4 years and the rest is history.
Crazy dawg
as a person who only just started watching a few months ago... this is so wild to watch! lol It's awesome!
What happened to Roger?
@@ericduminil I'm pretty sure he just does the work behind the scenes now. Like stuff when they're doing the live broadcasts I think.
@@ericduminilhe’s filmin a part

This series needs to hurry up and blow up already!!!!!!!!! Love this show!!!!
+John Navarro Tell em.!!! -Crob
They need to go 1 hour every show and also get some bigger names.
armin38822 they get the people that matter in skateboarding, not the blown up new kids. that's why I like this show
+armin38822 bigger names? not arguing with u but they had Prod, Jamie Foy, Jereme R, they're doing people we havent heard a million times. plus its not really a party like weekend buzz... some people wouldnt be right 4 this show. there's other skate shows with all kinds of people.

I wanna see a episode where Chris Roberts is the guest. I want the Chris Roberts story!!!
Another great Interview. Jeron seems SO nice and friendly. :)
The opening line in "Virtual Reality" + the Beatles Song still give me a shiver to this day.

And a podcast legend was born.
Jeron and Chris are both very chill people. Im happy Jeron became part of the show.
Barely started the video but, Jeron has that R&B singer voice so this will be great
Amazing interview, I would actually love if Dubs was a recurring co host on this show!:)
I can't believe the Nice Club is 4 months old already!
I like that you guys place product and items in the background that tie in to your interviewees, such as Jerons board on the wall or the pictures in the bookshelf. Besides great audio content, each show has had visual background items for us to check out.
Jeron's beer changed right when they talked about him becoming a co-host.
cool to come back and see Jeron's first appearance
This is the most magical show on TH-cam. I dig Reda's cameo appearance and the sound quality is on point. You guys could probably do a live show with an audience in a few months.
Y'all pretty much put Jeron on Nine Club flow here. Couple years later he's fully on the team.

Jeron has been fire since virtual. Btw one of the best episodes thusfar.
they say the month things because there's a lot of developments that happen very rapidly at the under 2 range
Jeron is one of my favorite persons in skateboarding
I swore I had listen to this episode before and holy shit I love the Reda cameo. He is always great to see pop up.
Im drunk as hell, cant sleeep. A few episodes of the 9 club and im out like a babe
Chris and Jeron bonding over energy efficient cars: Priceless
Met jeron at the new balance intervals premier couple days ago !!! Got a picture with bro !

504 months old here. |-] Great episode, keep 'em comin! Am I the only 1 wishing there were 2 episodes weekly..? Also, It's called 'The Nine Club' ..we need our 2016 SLS Champ on an episode, no?
This show is the best! Try to get Ronnie Creager on the show, he'd definitely have some interesting things to say.
5 years later, they got him on. Have you watched his ep?
I still wanna see the legend and my first hero as a kid Marc Johnson on the show!
Jeremy Wray's shoe on Dukes was called The J Dub
Fun fact
A pleasant surprise! He was super nice at a Girl/Choc Active instore back 2002. Dude was all smiles.
+dealt Dubbs is the man.!! -Crob
And now Dubs is part of the show.. so good. Also is wierd to not hear Kelly's at all
I'm hyped on the fact that back in the day, since Limewire was peer to peer, I probably downloaded some music from Jeron, or vice versa. Thats dope.
Getting better and better each episode
I like how You guys change the interior depending on the guest. that product placement but it's sick. keep up the good work Chris!
Yeah Chris kills it with all the interior decorating. :)
+Roger Bagley Yup! It's all me!! Haha -Crob

Here in 2022 watching Jeron’s episode on his birthday
C_Rob, good call out on that Jay-Z gear situation. I would/have done the same thing.
a lot of love right there
could probably connect a Walkman from the headphone port to an iPod Auxiliary port in a car.
I wish there more time to talk about Jeron's skate parts, but fucking great episode guys.
+rylan wright me too! -Crob
I'm loving the content guys, keep running with it!
funnily enough chris talked about the jhorts just a few days ago on ishod quoting jeron. the all seeing panel.
Aye they made a good choice bringing him on as a host he definitely brought to the table rather than subtracted
There was a kid named Michael Lidkie in my highschool, but everyone called him Lidkie. I was new to the school, and everyone called him Lidkie, so I only knew him as Lidkie. Took me from Sophomore to Senior year to finally learn his name was Michael. Funny how nicknames work
makes my mondays better
Jeron should have spoke more on Banshee. It was such an awesome show.
I wonder if Rog knows my skateboarding history. How I got started, my first board, where I skated. Would not be surprised.
9:23 they do it in months for kids under 2 years or sometimes up to three years because of certain developmental milestones that are expected to be seen and normal childhood growth patterns in the first 3 years.
big fan, I haven't missed any show! keep it up guys!
+mario cristobal collado aviles thanks for the support! -Crob
Great episode!
Dimond hardware is legit!! And Daym Dimond footwear's first ad was incredible no doubt.
Keep the J-Dub on the show.
+URBANO x Media should we swap out Kelly for da Dubbs!? Ha -Crob
Why cant you have Dubbs and Kelly both on the button, or the Kelly and J Dub half hour!
This comment aged well, lmao
The world needs more C-rob footage.
+Collin Noreen as seen on my Instagram... sometimes! Haha -Crob
The bunt episode made me dig this one up lol

Keep up the entertaining great work !
seriously guys, you turned the worst day of the week into the best
Not sure how to feel about this one, no mention of the switch flip manny. Crob is getting tired, maybe the new thing is asking for boxes or recruiting a co-host :P
Jeron is one of the cleanest ever, he has that Suga Free vibe to him. Diamond just makes so much sense with this guy behind the wheel. I would love to see the Nine Club crew attempt a full workout with Biebel! Maybe Crob will develop some muscle
+Andres Alfonso (Afar25) can you blame me? I love free stuff! Haha
Don't we all :)
Jeron “came in at the right moment” Wilson
little did he know this was a job interview :-)
Haha you guys make Monday traffic so much better
+Otniel Manary thank you for tuning in.! -Crob
I'd be down to intern at Diamond and just archive Jeron's music!!!
+Julio I let Dubbs know btw! Good luck! -Crob
The Nine Club Alright lol
I was pissing tears of laughter when he got asked what's on his business card
Easily the weirdest way to say that lol
Great to see Dubs before he was officially on the show. Love it
Biebel defenitely is the Diamond mascot. He had me trying to order a Diamond hoody before Nick even had a website up. AMFD.
Nick Tershay please. And...Clyde Singleton!!! I'm sure he's got some amazing stories.
Little did he know..

Roberts sounds likish like Mr Rogers when he starts the show
you should backup your rare cds jeron, because physical media rots, so preserve them before they become unreadable
JERON Big Ups !!!
Nice. Jeron cared about music on that level.
52:51 Had to go back to this moment.
