@@Popcornbeetle thanks I appreciate it. I’m using the Galvan GEN 3.5 without the optional weight. It has an empty weight of 4.9oz and they also sell an optional 1/2 oz weight that is easily removable for $10. Great reel but it’s not heavy enough to balance my longer 10’10” 2wt DB, even with the extra weight, so I keep it on the 10 footer. I use a tilt for the longer rods that need more weight to balance.
@@Popcornbeetle for the shorter 10’ rods yes. For the longer heavier rods it’s really hard to beat a tilt for the price. I landed 25 steelhead in one day last year with some over 10 pounds and the tilt worked beautifully on my DB 6 weight 10’ 10” rod. Guys really seem to like the ESN reels and the DB reels but I’ve not tried either of them.
Another superb video. Thanks.
@@alexargyros7186 hey Alex! Glad you liked it. It was a blast to make. I had all the footage I needed in two hours!
Good fun! That streamer served you well! Nice tip on getting unsnagged from the bottom a good fly saver.
@@dalesheehan9404 thank you Dale. The tip for removing snags works great, unless you’re in a log. Then not as much.
Nice video. Which Galvan you using to balance that 2wt?

@@brooktoriverflyfishing thanks! Nice to see it balance without the extra weight or needing the 3.7. Would you go with the GEN again?
