Don't give false information. In tourist visa u cannot work .. for work permit you have to apply from home country

He's right. You can do that within your visiting period. But be prepared to leave the UK. Go back home and apply for visiting visa again and come back. Try again, again and again with different companies. Many have become successful, but it's very tedious and many give up. Money is the problem often. It's easy if you have a supporting family. Try from your country too. Nobody route is the same living abroad. People abuse it too, and become stranded and overstayed.
But you cannot search for job in tourist visa

Remember you have made a contact(s) to follow up with later after you have gone back, or when you come for your next visit. No one way towards achieving a goal. Companies will shy away from you as soon as you submit your visa. Do not submit your visa at this stage. Never do that, but explain to them, and follow up in the future. Here in Europe, and all over the world, many people are living illegally and later got their settlement. It will take years of pains but it is possible.
