WR despite: not ideal Phantoon pattern, hiccup in a Metroid room, missing 3 shots at Mother Brain. That's just how awesome the rest of the run was. So happy for you Zoasty!
after not playing SM for years and watching loads of speedruns, I got to Ridley with 8 energy tanks and got my ass handed to me 3 times before finally besting him... it really gives a new appreciation on how speedrunners destroy ridley with only 2 tanks.
Just wondering, have you found deertier yet and put your time on the leaderboard? I just started practicing this game and even though I’m way down toward the bottom of the board it’s still a fun way to watch myself improve.
