what did you mean by the japanese box pulls are more limited? each japanese box has guaranteed pull rates so you are guaranteed 1 SR or better per box, along with guaranteed number of shinies per box. That's better than any etb or booster bundle you could get in english
He’s saying there’s less variety, cause if you just get a regular full art SR you now your not gonna get another good pull (SAR).
English booster boxes you can get a wide variety of different rarity’s.. ex’s, FA, IR, SIR,Hyper rare/ gold. I’ve gotten one of each rarity in a few English boxes, but you can’t do that in Japanese boxes. I’m pretty sure that’s what he meant, hope that made sense.

@billytrinh8918 no the rev packs come with unopened packs..I decided to gamble on a couple not too long ago and I actually got a silver tier for one of them. The green tier came with a variety of Scarlet & Violet/Sword & Shield packs. The silver came with packs from those sets, plus a Black & White Legendary Treasures pack (that pack alone unopened is worth like $100)

They peaked at like 110$!!! Believe me I know I've opened like two cases since this set came out 🤣 and why are they cheap? Cuz the market crashed! Everything Japanese is cheap now, you just did a 151 video saying how cheap they are

Crazy how cheap these boxes are compared to how valuable the cards can be.
It is like investing in reverse. While the sets are at retail, buy sealed and hold it. The cards don’t climb in price nearly as quick, and you can buy ALL the singles you want after the market is flooded with them
Because the chance is miniscule and the default is trash. Should have been a baby shiny minimum in each pack if they were going to release 90 of them. And JP ex cards aren't usable in EN games.

Yes, they’re currently between $30-$32 per box in Japan based on the daily exchange rate! Insane
Pokemon centers in Japan are still selling these and second hand tcg stores have dropped their prices to around ¥4500 (~$28) assuming they overstocked and are trying to get rid of them.
My daughters love opening these sets. Definitely picking a few up to open up with them.😊
At the beginning, around the releasedate these boxes were a 100+ dollars each (Europe) 😅 Way more affordable now!
I'm in Osaka Japan now these boxes sell for 4400 yen, which is around 28 USD per box, crazy price
I always wondered why the Japanese boxes are so much cheaper compared to the English version.
Only opened 2 boxes of this set and one of them had a god pack with pretty much the worst cards you could get. I think the price has rocketed down because the set is bonkers huge. If you look through all the cards and include all the rev holo's, I think the set has over 300 card in it which is beyond crazy.

They could definitely do more with shiny IRs, I don’t think a lot of people are crazy about chasing 100 baby shinies in one set
I'm getting 2 of these boxes for $50 plus $10 in singles TBD. My buddy has been going crazy on tiktok and hooked me up with the insane prices he paid. $25 per box
I’ve pulled a god pack, Charizard SAR and Gardevoir SAR and a few golds so far. Super fun to open glad prices came down to earth
So nice to see Japanese boxes priced normally again. The bubble didn't last as long as I thought it would.
The cards look way better than English, but it turns me off that if you get a Full Art you won't get any SIR or more Full Arts.. and it's not playable anyway to play with

My friend pulled a godpack from this in front of me it was my first time seing it and he pulled mew, charizard and some other amazzing cards :D I was very happy for him. I dont open Pokemon anymore but I enjoy watching others opening them! ( I collect sealed item)
The japanese packs are so goated now. They're also super cheap compared to regular packs.

The Japanese pack is the same as the Indonesian pack, the full art shiny is counted as a secret rare. You can say you're lucky enough if you got 1 SR and 1 SSR (Full art shiny) in one box 😅

There's a fine balance when it comes to making a set enjoyable to open. Either you risk it being too punishing, with low pull rates and impossible secret rares that happen once every 10 cases... Or you end up cramming every pack with exs and multiple holos that completely lose all of their value, turning into "fluff" instead of a rewarding pull. From what I can see, the Japanese sets tend to lean towards the latter. I'd take some Evolving Skies any day over something like this, honestly. Cool opening anyway!
Love that the prices are finally getting back to normal
I mean I would argue the reason it's low is there just aren't many good cards. Outside of Charizard, Mew, and Iono, and shiny Pikachu, the set is dull. Most sets have some pretty cool artwork outside of the top 3 main chases and this set has those full art shiny's that just look like crap in my opinion. That being said I spent way too much money chasing the Zard in this set and ended up just ebaying it.

This set is basically reprinted cards with another color sceme, on a copy pasted background for the most part. The SIR/ALT's looks amazing in this set though.

Man, I bought 2 of these boxes at $40 each. Pulled the iono and the charzard. Normally my luck is not that good.

ive opened about 12 boxs of the shiny treasures ex and have only got one god pack! every god pack will have the mimikyu alt art super awesome card!
Shiny Treasure / Paldean Fates is such a fun set!
Recently bought a box of this set and the very last pack was a quote god pack but the pulls were meh. It had 6 baby shiny, 3 shiny full art EX, and an art rare. I ended up getting 3 more boxes, but no more god packs. I've got a lot of baby shiny/full art shiny and a ton of EX & of course holos/reverse holos....but the pull rates for AR/SAR etc seems to be EXTREMELY difficult. I haven't pulled ANY aside from the one art rare in the god pack.

Just starting to get into the JP collection. Pretty fun to see some slight differences.
I prefer the vintage Japanese cards up until XY promos, but also the tagteam are awesome! I have a pretty decent collection but you can always have more🤣 bad for the wallet lol. I collect vintage up until 2004 and a few sets after and just some great random cards I love, also sword and shield era! Great opening!❤
