Thank you for the recipe 😊
You're wonderful and thank you 😊
Thank you for shaving the goatee
It was a bit much with the bald
Try wearing a hat?
My grandpa made me crepes when I was 5 years old, almost 80 years ago. I have made them all my life since then. Grandpa made a simple blueberry syrup with fresh blueberries to put on them. Thanks for the nice reminder.
Thanks for writing the measurements in different forms
That fridge at the end always get me 😂
Dude same😂
I love how it’s just silly and absurd enough, but not in the way of other foodtubers. It’s like a running bit & it just gets funnier (and doesn’t waste anything cuz it’s the same fridge lol)

@@yuh6812 and yours isn’t?🤣
His skills are actually getting better with time.
Literally a pancake anywhere but the US :P
My thought exactly. 😂
I concur!
Actually, not in France. That would be a crepe 😜
In Brazil its a pancake
American pancakes are delicious
Cinnamon and sugar is a banger combo too!!
Childhood flavor
Nutella and sliced bananas
I was expecting him to put mayo
@@mattyo71 savory crepes are awesome
@@eleishar18 istg i already know you white
I also love Nutella and banana with a little whipped cream
It’s nearly irrelevant But when you do sugar and lemon put the lemon on first so there the tiniest bit of texture from the sugar it’s WAY better
Delicious by the way
Had this combo for the first time in Paris decades ago. I always thought Nutella was some sort of European specialty. I was a sheltered child…lol.
That's awesome man my twin girls love peanut butter an banana sandwiches I guess I gotta add some fluff an let wm.check it out!!! Badass!!!
Try cottage cheese and sugar, rolled. My Grandmas recipe from Hungary.
In Hungary we have these as pancakes (we call it "palacsinta"). You can fill it up with many interesting things. Poppy seeds/grated nuts/cocoa+ sugar, cottage cheese+ lemon zest, jams, or even nutella.
Not even trying to be funny but I would put every single one of those toppings in a crepe. It would be a lot of different flavors and textures, but would be undeniably delicious.
@@olred3870we even make a "cake" from it sometimes by just layering the pancakes on each other and spread anything you want as a filling :)
The word reminds me of the Austrian term "Palatschinken". Maybe some Austro-Hungarian historie there
cottage cheese is the way
Placenta
Kick combo was beautifully executed!
thatdudecankick
He hit it with the Tekken kicks!
adding vanilla to the batter taste amazing as well.
Try this :
Cook you Crèpes , put strawberry with crèmes cheese on it. Roll it up and heat in the ovens. Add chocolat coulis when its done and enjoy
We had these every Sunday. They are amazing with a bit of maple syrup and crispy bacon rolled up. Some of my favorite memories when I was a kid.
Savory crepes such as the recipe above can be enjoyed with cheese, turkey or ham etc.
Love a savory crepe with some Gruyère and jamón Ibérico.
I had a crepe with fresh berries and custard the other day at a French place and it was incredible. The other one we had was ham, gruyere, and egg with buerre blanc and crispy potatoes. Omg
Those sound scrumptious! I can just image what they look and taste like. So jealous.
Custard. I adore custard.
As a Canadian living in Brittany I confirm this is a well-prepared crèpe, perfect colour and right thickness. Lemon, melted butter and grains of sugar are the ultimate crepe.
A pancake is something more dense and fluffy and also wonderful.
Except no one in France puts heavy cream in the batter, just milk.
And the butter in often added to the pan, not melted and in the batter.
It’s less rich (probably less good then 😂) but the good thing is you can eat more crêpes 😊
Crepé= French name for thin PANCAKE
@@DaRealBapoNO ONE uses heavy cream in the pancakes batter anywhere in the world!
Only American pancakes are fluffy. And those are the exception
@@DaRealBaponot sure why his recipe contains heavy cream. Also, I never sit my batter for one hour, just cook it 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 away. And I always get the "air holes"
In chile we make pancakes similars to these and we fill them with manjar that Is like dulce de leche but is darker and more thicc Heres the recipie If you Wanna try them and get chance to try manjar,
Panqueques con manjar:
3 whole eggs
250grams flour
3 table spoons vegetable oil
500 ml whole milk
100 grams sugar
A Little of vanilla extract
add everything to a blender AND then Cook then on medium heat with a thin coat of oil and fill them with manjar or dulce de leche and roll them like tubes
1 hour not necessary. Just 15 to let the flour bloom and it thickens. It’s pretty much the standard recipe. I don’t add heavy cream.
My great-grandparents came to the US from east Europe so this is what I grew up knowing as pancakes. I now add a ripe banana and some maple syrup instead of sugar, and adjust the amount of milk to ensure the consistency of the batter is like that in the video.
Same! My great grandmother who grew up in estonia used to make these all the time
What's the "right consistency" for milk???? And how do you adjust mik consistency???
@@AlissaSss23 The banana can make the batter thicker so I add enough milk to make it the same consistency as in the video. If it is too thick it doesn't spread in the pan evenly and you can get thick sections.
On point with the kick man!
He either did karate as a kid or just watches ufc and kicks his fridge a ton
Thank you, this is a great idea for breakfast this weekend!
Cook down mushrooms in butter and near the end throw spinach into the pan. Put that on top of the crepe, throw some feta on and roll 😋
Half milk, half sparkling water make them even better😊
He just made an european pancake lol
No bro that’s a pancake everywhere I’m the world except the U.S.
@@ghungrooseth1946Canada also makes fluffy pancakes. And "the rest of world" isn't just Europe
@@al-Mamluk-1250 I’m not from Europe dummy. I’m from Asia.
And sureee, Canada is sooo different from the United States
@@al-Mamluk-1250 you guys don’t even have an independent foreign policy, of course you think pancakes are fluffy
@@ghungrooseth1946 Lol. Neither does Western Europe. Notice how the "greatest economy in Europe" (Germany) quickly fell in line with what the US wanted with this Ukraine thing. And North Americans don't have a monopoly on adding baking powder to baked goods...
I used to work at a restaurant that specialized in crepes. Grilled chicken, basil pesto, red onions, tomatoes, mozz and spinach was my favorite. Makes this looks like childs play.
Gallettes. Soo good
WOW WHAT AN ATTENTION SEEKER!! AND TRYING TO ONE UP OTHERS INSTEAD OF ENJOYING A WHOLESOME COOKING VIDEO!!
I swear if i don't see fridge abuse I'm unsatisfied 😂
my grandma used to make these with m&ms and called them “run away pancakes”. best thing i’ve ever had
Sonny: "Pancakes are overrated, Make these instead"
Also Sonny: Makes a pancake
It's a crepe not a pancake
That's called a pancake in Denmark, what Americans usually eat is an American pancake 😅 here the crepes/pancakes are often eaten with a filling of a little jam and some sugar, then rolled.
hahaah yeah, the thick ones are either referred to as brunchpandekager or just american pancakes
jam AND sugar? jam is like 50% sugar why add more
It's also a just a pancake here in the UK, an American pancake we'd call a drop scone.
@@abcdefg8057I'm thinking texture
Actual crepes are slightly thinner than our scandi pancakes though
In Denmark we often roll em with icecream and jam inside 😋
Awesome dude me an the fam love ya Sonny!!! Keep it coming man appreciate ya brother!!
Yummy.
I'd put strawberries and a drizzle of dark chocolate on mine.
Or brûléed bananas
So many varieties.
Love this guy he actually sounds human and to top it off this recipe rocks.
Without sugar, crepes also make great manicotti "noodles." (Rollup the ricotta mixture in the crepes.)
Browning that butter and adding lemon zest to the batter makes some amazing crepes!
Thank you for posting the recipe!
Try grape jelly or strawberry jam. This recipe is similar to my Czech grandma's crepe recipe. They gotta be fully crispy.
babiččiny recepty jsou vždy nejlepší💯
@@juandale-pringle ajoy! Ano. vždy nejlepší
Beating up the refrigerator at the end always cracks me up 😂
Man,can this guy cook!
Serbian pancakes recipe, makes around 20 to 30 of em depending on the size of your pan:
1 glass of milk
4 glasses of water
1/2 glass of oil
3-4 eggs depending on the size
1 tablespoon of sugar
Pinch of salt
You mix all that together with a whisk or even better with a mixer until you get a homogenous solution.
Then you proceed to add flour little by little until you get a thick bater that is still runny not solid, not as thick as you would do it for american pancakes, it needs to be able to flow on the pan like shown in the video.
Then you take a pan and brush it with oil and bake the pancakes on medium to high temperature. You may need to reapply the oil brushing of the pan after a couple of pancakes l, allways do a thin layer dont put to much oil.
Enjoy your classic Serbian pancake.
What’s up dude!
Killer recipe as per usual…love it!
Heres a tip, when youre cooking the other side apply sugar to the cooked side, then fold it in the pan. for whatever that comes out really great
Maybe a kind of faux caramel.
Kick combo!!! Thats what i was waiting for 😭🤟
Can’t believe he called me an “airhole”
I make this for my son every morning for his breakfast!
My method is slightly different though - I whisk the milk and flour first, and then crack in the eggs and whisk again. But like you, I work it quite heavily with the whisk til it’s totally homogeneous. I also add vanilla extract, and use honey instead of granulated sugar.
I spread Greek yogurt and honey, roll it up and slice into rounds…
Dad of the year, or what!?
Wow! Dad of the year. 😊
My dude really can cook. This recipe is insanely underrated. You deserve awards mate.
Condensed milk will blow your mind with these crepes
My mom used to make them like this! Thank you for the recipe!
Can we all take a moment ro appreciate that kick combination?
Crepes bananas foster is delicious too
Try: add a little fizzy water to the mix.
I grew up on these in USA and we called them big pancakes. Grandma was polish
Easily my all time favorite breakfast. I still make them weekly
I would really love to see some really fluffy light pancakes
I swear one day that fridge gonna fight back lmao
As you are making sweet crepes, vanilla is a natural addition.
Or not. Each to their own.
Not everyone likes vanilla
@@AlissaSss23 Fair enough, you can always avoid flavors or ingredients that don't agree with you. It's the beauty of cooking. You can always make what suits you best.
Add Germany to the list of European countries where this is considered a regular pancake 😊 Here we call them „Pfannkuchen“ or „Eierkuchen“ (depending where in Germany you are)
Really? I lived there for some time and this was always referred to as a crepe while a pancake was a bit thicker. Probably about as thick as 3 crepes.
Same in Belgium.
Or "Plinse"
@@jesserose6548yes really. This is a typical Pfannkuchen. Or yeah more Eierkuchen. Since Pfannkuchen can also be used for the Berliner/Krapfen
@@V-DtaJ No where in Germany that I've been to has ever referred to a Berliner/Krapfan as a pfannkuchen. Mainly because Berliner and Krapfan are doughnuts and pfannkuchen literally translates to pancake. Who knows though. I was only there for 6 years.
We spray the bottom of a similar pan, dip it in the crepe batter, then set it over the stove burner upside down. Peel crepe after it bakes, no flipping. Great stuff!
No one talking about that kick combo though
I was born and grew up in Europe. Crepes were the first thing I learned how to make as a 10 year old. In my country it's a dessert that we'll whip up when we feel like having something sweet but don't want to bother baking. In winter time they were on the menu at least once a week.
I moved to Canada in my early twenties, and that's when I discovered pancakes and maple syrup. And my move here, if for nothing else was worth just for that.
Crepes and pancakes are two completely different things. And I love making and eating both.
My ass really went, “tf? You gonna let the batter rise or something” 😭
These are what we call pancakes in Sweden.
Same in the Netherlands
Va fan! Vanliga pannkakor ju... Svingott iofs...
It's a crepe not a pancake
Just made this for mothers day. Best crepe I've ever made
This is the calmest I’ve ever seen him
Beautiful! As kids, we called them “ skinny pancakes “ 😂❤
Half a fried banana with maple syrup and whipped cream rolled up in a crepe is tha bomb!
Your Martial Arts skills are beautifully displayed on. That Fridge ! 😊
I’ll take some!!
I’ll take some more!!
make it a little thicker, less sweet, roll it up, cut into slices and add it into a vegetable broth.
So this is my first recipe I've done of yours that was a complete disaster! Not sure if it was the pan or temperature but the batter sure as hell didn't float above the surface like a hoovercraft like yours! After five ladles I gave up. BUT what I did was warm a pan in the oven with oil, took it out, poured the rest of the batter in, baked it at 350 until it was browned on the bottom, then broiled it to brown the top. Holy cow! It was a giant, thick crepe that absolutely tasty! I need one of them magic pans like you have!
My mom used to put jam on her crapes they were amazing
Just did this, worked perfectly.
In eastern Germany these are called "Plinsen". I like to eat them with apple puree and suger/cinnamon.
you could fill with ricotta and cheese sauce cheese crispelli
Fried egg sunny side up and peanut butter is glorious. Don’t know it till you’ve tried it peeps! Same combo for a sandwich is also fab. Go on Sonny!!
Lobster newburg crepes are the best make them please !
Growing up we always had whipped cream and berry cream cheese filling
Come and check them out over in the Netherlands.
Flour, milk, eggs and some salt.
My favourite? Bacon and cheese. Or salmon and brie.
But you can do sweet as well.
kick at the end was on point, looked like tkd
Check out Mandy Lee's Pancake topped with Caramelized Frozen Blueberries at Food52. It's no thinny crèpe, Sonny. She takes the word Pan Cake literally, and those frozen blueberries are intense!
You really should check out all of her recipes on TH-cam. They take cultural culinary sharing to a level above next 😊
Purée a half a cup of cottage cheese and add to your crepe recipe. More protein and it’s a slightly more dense crepe. It’s amazing.
That's how we make pancakes in the Netherlands. But we add some cinnamon to the batter. Try it. It's amazing!
wow! great recipe!
Actual decent back kick at the end.
Sugar and lemon crêpes are my favourite.
I find American pancakes too heavy.
As an American, I wholeheartedly agree with you. I much prefer crepes (or non-American pancakes 😆)
Make it the day before with some yoghurt or creme fraiche. It’ll ferment nicely, and make it even tastier!
Here we love them with honey and ground wallnuts. Would recommend to anyone
Literally the UK pancake day recipe.
Does anyone remember the Magic Pan Crèpe restaurant in the U.S.? Crèpes filled with all manner of things. Soooo good.
You been playing Tekken 8? Because that was a Heat Burst to that refrigerator if I’ve ever seen one 😂
Use powdered sugar with the lemon. Orange juice is good too. Don't forget to zest some peel.
Add sparkling water makes it mix better
Excellent, thank you
his kicks getting pretty good
Pancakes ARE NOT overrated! 😡🥲😛
Good ol melted butter and some regular ol sugar hits the spot with these. Always ninja kick the fridge after those.
We called these “Norwegian pancakes” as a kid - both my mom and Norwegian grandma used to make them for us for breakfast. I now make these by blending the batter up in a vitamix, and I use fed sourdough starter instead of flour for better digestion. They taste amazing.
Very common knowledge in Scandinavia that crepes are indeed superior
🇸🇪These are literally swedish pancakes 🇸🇪🥞
add some extra sparkling water instead of same part of milk to get it extra fluffy
as a savoury guy I will divorce anyone who cooks me this in the morning
You've gotten better with your kicks👍🏾
I just made these and they were a hit!
Really good with ham and cheese if you fancy a savoury option.
Sugar and jam is a godlike combination
