At the Olympus Rally Travis was in his rally car waiting for a stage to start and my son and I were standing 50 feet away by a fence by ourselves. He hopped out and came over to talk with us for 5 minutes until he went off to race. He was so personable and excited to just have a chance to talk with fans, he is a legend!
Grew up in Annapolis and Travis is a legend and still remember having so many classmates having “ computer problems” in order to skip the covid classes to watch the jump in person. Still insane to me that this dude who did that still lives in and represents Maryland. Great video man

Travs an absolute legend. I've met him at events several times over the years and EVERY single time, he makes time. From chit chatting about MY projects, to signing anything. One time I happened to catch him by himself as he was on his way to the bathroom. It was the only 5 min break he had but he took a few seconds for a pic and autograph...THEN ran into him later and he said he felt bad he had to run off and proceeded to have a 5-6 min convo. I also remember a time when he finished winning Oregon trail rally and spent 45+ mins being with the crowd, doing his thing, everyone got theirs and had moved on and he saw a kid prob 5 yrs old waiting patiently, but nervously and Trav approached him and asked if he wanted pics and check inside of the car. He spent easily 5 mins, no one was really watching, but he made time. He just finished 3 days of rally and crowd work, you could tell he was tired, but got a buzz when seeing the kid light up. They say dont meet your heroes, well I've met one of mine, several times, and every time he exceeded my high expectations.

I tinted the matching Lamborghini to that boat here in Appleton Wisconsin. It was owned by the same guy who owned the boat. He made all his money when led lights came out. He was the one who outfitted lighting in all the major stores in the nation. Walmarts, Home Depot, ext. Was once convicted as a coke dealer and turned his life around with led lightning, lol.
