The PR the Alphaflys gave you speaks for itself. Sounds like you were just having some Achilles tendonitis issues. Running that many marathons that close together could be part of the cause. Alphafly 2’s are my marathon shoe of all time. Blisters on my plantar fascia at first, but after I broke them in no complaints and they make you feel like you’re flying.

These basically have the same stack height. Asics 39mm, Saucony 39.5, Nike 40. The difference is drop not stack height ASICS IS 5mm the other 2 are 8mm

Do you recycle your shoes when you're done with them? will you reuse these race shoes in further training/shorter races? not tryna dig at you, genuinely curious.
The endorphin elite cause an injury on my foot, these shoes are stiff and not as bouncy as stated, the Alphafly next % is better, I’ve set many PB’s in them.
If your calves and Achilles got messed up, you may not have trained enough in them. You gotta train in them if you aren't used to the crazy energy return.
It’s not the crazy energy return that causes your Achilles to get messed up it’s the shape of the plate that creates a lever that puts more force on your Achilles
Hes holding up like a total of $1200 shoes in his hands and this isnt even counting shoes he uses for tempo, and daily training....not counting his $300 watch and not counting his expensive running clothes lol 😂😂😂
The ASICS Metaracer, is the worst shoe I have ever run in. The low stack height, caused a lot of pain under my foot. Couldn’t even do 10k in the pail I bought.
