HONDA SHADOW VLX 600 / CHEAP BOBBER REVIEW!

- Today we review a 2004 Honda VT600C budget bobber! I go through the headlight, handlebars (clip on and ape hangers), solo seat, exhaust, twilight, grips, and some paint that went into it. This build should work on all years of the VLX, 1988 1989 1990 1991 1992 1993 1994 1995 1996 1997 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008. cafe racer, scrambler, bobber, and brat builds are very easy on this bike.

hey man, sick build, when you cut the frame can you keep your original side covers if you don't cut too much off?
Yep the side covers won't be affected by cutting the frame
Shorten fender drop headlight down under cross mount bigger seat w springs to bottom frame maybe rear fender if not remove pegs ?? paint tank ??that factory sticker ?? Very nice build thou for little
Only one bolt holding your seat on and your trousers from getting caught in between the tire and frame. While on the highway i was always skeptical about the safety of that?

All years of the vlx used the mono rear suspension
Nice bike! Does the seat pan just sits on the frame ? The only bolt is the one on the tank.
The seat pan sits on the frame, u have the bolt hole in front that u can fasten to the tank bolt, and then there is another hole on the rear of the pan that u can run a metal strap or ziptie and fasten that down to a bolt or spot near the mono shock

Do you have a link for the led lights?
You can just search "motorcycle strip LED tail light" and it will pop up on Google, Amazon, and eBay
Another cheap cool tip could be too use electrical tape to make stripes if that’s your thing.

I haven't been able to find this exact seat or bars again. But looking up "solo bobber seat" and "10 inch black ape hangers" gets u to ones almost identical

They make great chops but have no balls
