Besides your excellent content, I appreciate you're down-to-earth, bottom shelf content that I can relate to. You're transparent, honest approach to running (and life) is quite refreshing. Keep on keeping on!
Appreciate your channel sooo much as an older runner! I achieved FIRE at age 44 and no regrets here at 47, you'll love financial freedom, best of luck to you and Mary 🥰
Thank you both for everything you do. As an older couple who found running just a year ago we love watching your videos. They are great motivators and keep me going when I have a dip. So much value in each one. ⭐️
For my wife and I running meant getting up early before work to get our runs in which meant going to bed early which meant cutting most of the TV time out ....sacrifice is worth it ....we now look so forward to our runs and getting our healthy food g prepped and the strength training also....good video...
Ben & Mary, it's good to know that your boundless dedication and enthusiasm is as much benefit to you both as it is to us, your viewers. On behalf of us all, thank you. Enjoy your dream life, you have earned it!
As a runner and coach/trainer in the US, I love your channel and particularly this video! You give such great ideas about crafting the life you want as well as using the structure and discipline from running to build the career you want! Thank you!
Thanks to your videos I can say to myself "I am a runner!". I've been running seriously for a few weeks now (with "from sofa to 5k" in mind) and I care nothing for speed or distance (its nice to check after but it's not the goal for me). When i say seriously, I mean with intent, regualrly and its in my chalendar so i plan for it. I have been running before, but then just occasionally and not with any goals in mind. This time, I have several! one of my goals (for now) is to be able to run for 30 minutes straight without having to stop and walk. Later I want to be bale to run fast enough so my dog will have a nice even trott next to me (she's really good at following me when i got the running gear on and the leash round my waist). I think it will require about doubble the speed I've got now to get to her pace, but I'll get there, eventually... very slowly! :)
I think you're selling yourself short. I agree with what you are saying, but watching your videos, I see a tremendous amount of talent in what you do (including producing these videos). This cannot be bought or trained for. I will nevertheless try (in case I am wrong 😀). Thank you and Godspeed!
I started running after watch your channel for around almost a year. Hope that one day I'd have a chance to see both of you in a race in Thailand and thank you in person to make my first year of running less mentally struggle 😅 and making me see a different side of life. Love to perches your running singlet to reminding me of how much your channel have been helping me, but that last time I've seen, it won't ship to Thailand.
Oh I love this Ben, running and life lessons that can help me and my similar goal. Thank you for the videos , part of my structure is to regularly watch your TH-cam videos
Happy that Thailand makes you feel happy it is an amazing country and people … I am still happy with my choice to move to Thailand too since 2021 little bit longer ahahah good channel and good job guys
For me running was a result of moving to the California, start a family (unexpectedly) and then being hit by a pandemic. In my nearly 3 years of running I never had a run where I thought I don't wanna do it or hated doing it and now slowly but surely running became an obsession. The only thing that bugs me with myself is that I cannot for the life of it make myself a training plan and stick to it especially when it comes to strength and conditioning. When I have an app (NRC, Garmin Coach etc) where I can check a box every day I am happy but when I write it down myself then I just ignore it. Life is strange
Timely. I am going to be retiring soon. Yes work is good and I structure my training for triathlon around it. Now when I retire I must structure my time around the no work area. Your tips will help me. I follow your training but in my own older age group way to avoid injury. Cheers.
Have always loved the channel. Your videos are varied - I love a race video but the informative ones are so useful. Keep them coming - your enthusiasm for life is infectious 🥰
Love this video, and love you guys ❤ You give me so much inspiration, and have completely changed my running game for the better. Im currently following your half marathon training plan and my hubby is following your 5km plan. Thank you for all that you do to keep us running 🫶
Just wanted to say thank you Ben and Mary. I have subscribed for many years, got so much from your content, love the channel and have loved your journey and the channels journey. Long may it continue, all the best ❤
Brilliant video. Running’s going really well for me at the moment, so it’s felt logical to apply the lessons from it to other elements of my life - structure and discipline help me a lot with writing, for instance.
I have a gazillion of those up and running buffs you showed near the end 😂 great vid as always Ben and I agree creating healthy time habits is vital. Especially for me with ADHD.
Another great video - I always learn something (and love a good quote!) Thanks for great content. Just need to stop my husband spending his evenings watching TV and doom-scrolling 🤣🤦♀
Wow, look at that muscle! Looking strong. Goals. Working on my upper body this year. I love the reminder that challenges change us for the better. I need that advice for my new job on the days I want to quit. Instead I can remember, that I will grow through the challenges. Do you have any 5k training plans for getting faster? Just started a 6 race winter run series of 5ks. Had been hoping to get down to low 20s for time. Aimed for 27 min today. Ended up with 25:22! My summer trail runs really made the road race feel easy this morning. Which is good cause my routine is off from my new job. Step one fix that habit. But also I ended up getting 4th place in my age group. My dream is to get in the top 3 at least once in my life. The person before me was a full minute faster so I’ve got some work to do.
Hey! It’s usually tough as we’re tight for time but have met loads of subscribers at races around the country, which is always awesome! Have you signed up for anything whilst here? 😊
Love you guys. You are more like life coaches. Thanks for sharing your experiences!
Thanks so much! That’s very kind and something we’re very passionate about too 😊

Nothing cuter than Winnie at 7:23 cuddling into Ben's lap.

So much value in each one. ⭐️
Ahh thanks so much, Nicola 😊 that’s so kind to say. I’m glad you’ve found this crazy running life 🤘🏼😊

I really enjoy your commentary. It’s thought provoking and articulate.
‘The obstacle is the way’…Ryan Holliday inspired?…inspires me too👊

The more you put in the more you get out and by the sounds of it, its working for you.
This is so much more than a running channel. Among many other things, it's an inspiration. You two are indomitable!

Ha ha gotta love up and running! Yes same with me. I’m a master procrastinator if I don’t plan my time wisely 🤦🏻♂️😂
I’m interested in a video about your stretching routine
Another great video - I always learn something (and love a good quote!) Thanks for great content. Just need to stop my husband spending his evenings watching TV and doom-scrolling 🤣🤦♀
Really great video, thanks for insights. As a teacher and runner myself, I particularly liked the tips and thoughts on structure.
Not running related but your dog is adorable! Great channel and content..

How did you figure out the maximum distance you could bring Winnie along?
