Would you believe I bought mine brand new hooked it up one time didn’t have enough hard drive so I put it to the side it collect dust for five years and I just pulled it out again (it was in mint condition! I forgot about it) LOL. Just dropped a couple hundred on the upgrade to 2.0 and got the max out package for the hell of it hopefully this time actually use it says I have several terabytes of storage and a new computer since 2014 LOL
yeah mate, I bought an MPC studio around the same time only just started using it. I think the software was pretty crap back then though, 2.8 is pretty good now. I was using my 1K though during that time.
Good video but the part at the end....THE MOST IMPORTANT PART.....you cant really see what you pressed to highlight the program section so it can be named and SAVED

I can see that the software allows you to midi-learn sample start and end points via a midi encoder or knob... however, I notice even Start x1 (the finest resolution) doesn't move that start marker in fine increments... only grabbing it wit hthe mouse does. Is there a snap setting somewhere I'm not seeing? It looks like it's doing the same for you when you're chopping with the main wheel. Thanks man!
hello i have a question, i'm a big fan of the mpc ren layout, finally i have a used one in view, but i don't know which version of the softwere, probably this is maybe in 1.8 if you have that version you can pay to upgrade to 2.0 and then update to 2.8? can you give me any feedback on this? if you have 2.0 just upgrade to 2.8? thank you
If you have the money don’t even think about It the x is cool but unless you’re looking for something that can also be stand alone you don’t really need it I’ve been using my ren for 3 years now no problem.
@@felixtanyi I just got an mpc x for 900 at a local pawn yesterday, the Renaissance machines that are nice were going for 600+ , so I got to keep my mpc 3k and 950 , sold off my mpc 1k and mixer to front the cost merry Xmas to me this year !
Question ..I noticed that the bpm at the top of your screen is set for 120bmp but the wave file is 97.20bmp I'm confused don't they suppose to match and if so how can I change that im still learning

@@Christophermoralesssss live II has battery and speaker, I would choose it over the one any day. I have the studio is aight, but the live II can work standalone without the computer where as the studio always needs the computer which is kinda annoying.

Did you ever get the upgrade to 2.8? I am in the market to buy a Renaissance but don't know much about the software versions.
