Hello. Do you know maybe (or someone from viewers of this channel) if warping specific slice is possible on MPC Ren without going into waveform view? From videos on youtube it looks like for me there is an option for that in pad parameters screen on MPC X / MPC Live. Can't find that option on my MPC Ren.
What type of USB hub are you using I am trying to get one for my Mac laptop I have a mpc studio & kompleat kontrol 61 & G hard drives & focusright 18i8 audio interface
To be honest I’m using the usb hub that came with Rock Star Game lol. It’s just a regular usb 2.0 hub. However, I using an Apollo thunderbolt. It’s best to have Audio device hooked in directly to computer and everything else on the usb hub

I'm trying to figure out still , for example , it gets more complicated if you already have a beat at 110 bpm and your new sample that u wanna add its off ,slower lets say you have to edit ,once its looping perfect ,warp it, and then ? I've never done audio but when I tried warping with a beat already in place it dosent happen, it'll be nice if you show something like if you have a beat already and you grab another 1 how you can warp them together using 2 audio tracks etc,, thanks I appreciate.

The loop is gonna stay at whatever bpm you set. So if loop is 70bpm the best thing to do in warp function is set bpm to 140pm for double time and loop will remain the same
Hope you can help. When i drag the start or end sliders on audio the sliders are dragging through the audio playing the waves of the audio im dragging the slider through. Instead of tge sliders moving through smoothly no audio sound to edit start and end points. Plz help
Good video but the warp function in MPC is only decent for small increments of adjustment. You don't have to push it too far before you start getting audible artifacts. Maybe NI is using zplane's ELASTIQUE, because Maschine doesn't have those artifacts.
@@BoloDaProducer My bad... I see in the *preferences tab* that Elastique pro and a couple of it's variants are also available. Akai's MPC version is set as default and obviously nowhere near as good as Elastique's.
Aight so I chopped up a sample and made a drum pattern of it and now I'm tryna add effects to it through the channel mixer but it keeps booting me out? Ever seen this? I can add effects to other stuff like the other keygroup programs and stuff.. just not this one..
Yes sure! The kits are from my personal collection, but the vinyl samples are all my records at my father's house, brother i've been a old digger from the 90's.

madluper I’ve never used Ren, so I’m not sure if option is available. I hope it is, it will definitely be a time saver!

I had the same problem, you have to load the sample first, warp function will be there but it will be greyed out

slapopimp yeah nothing’s perfect, I always liked the the journey of figuring it out and creating decent music. It’s more of a preference thing

True Elohim not sure why; however, they just released another update. You might need to download it. They fixed A Lot of bugs
