Looks great. Very similar to Canada’s Wonderland’s Wonder Mountain’s Guardian, but with a better layout for the coaster sections and better theming than the Canadian one
I can't tell if it's a drop or tilt track but on some other videos I've seen it's a drop track so maybe it has both? I've also seen different theming for the shooting parts so maybe there could be multiple themes too? I jsut can't wait to experience this!
Both a tilt track and a drop track. There are different endings to the ride. They alternate with every vehicle every time so that the system has a chance to reset itself

I expected more theming in the mountain to be honest. When you first go in there’s a huge space full of concrete walls and beams. Ugly to look at. Cover it with more rock formations or scenery. Missed opportunity. Also the water feature on the outside of the mountain wasn’t on.

Also whats the advantage of having done it in house, just to say they did? They couldve paid probably the same amount that they spent (or less) on an intamin multi dimension coaster and it wouldve been done in a year or two
I could be wrong but I don’t think this would have taken as long if it wasn’t during Covid. Also have they said what the budget was in this ride I can’t find it anywhere?

@@thexpproject I mean it looks fun. Too bad I didn't get to try it back in June when I was up there. However beings that it's gonna be another 7 years before there's a new coaster again at Lagoon it seems a little underwhelming.

I’m hoping that the long construction on this was Covid related and not the normal for new rides but I could be wrong.
I had higher expectations. Mainly all movie screens and toy guns. Definitely will save my $90 to $100 for the gate price or whatever the outrageous cost is now. They could've done way better.
@@sidvernon6343 oh yeah it’s definitely technical but the carts don’t rotate, no interactive tools like the blaster, no alternate endings. Just a roller coaster from an elevator but I definitely don’t want to talk down Cannibal it’s a masterpiece! I just feel like primordial is super unique.
This was supposed to be revolutionary I mean its really good for a lagoon ride but disneyland and universal have already paved the way to rides like this. So its not really revolutionary.
Yeah I just got back from Disney this week and I just don’t think we will ever see that kind of technology at lagoon unfortunately. If they really wanted to hard compete with those parks they would have to pump a ride out every year for the next ten years.
Yeah for a park the size of Lagoon the tech is pretty amazing but it’s not like a 100 million dollar Disneyland type ride for sure. But if they keep this momentum of pushing out these kind of rides, the future could look really amazing in my opinion!
@@anonymouscoasterenthusiast I’ll have to look up the numbers but I know rise of the resistance at Disney was between 250-400 million. There no way lagoon spent that much for this ride but fingers crossed maybe someday they get that big! 🙂

This ride looks terrible. I mean shockingly terrible. 7 years in the making for this. What a disappointment. Hours to get on? I wouldn't wait 5 minutes for this.
I think it depends on what kind of rider you are. If you are a major thrill seeker, rides like wicked and Cannibal are going to be more your speed. I think younger crowds might like this one though.

It’s a Next Gen. The Trains and Elements are completely custom and done in house by Lagoon. WMG wishes it was this good.

That’s the end drop and then the cart turns back to the direction that it loads so your just in darkness for a bit

Intamin isn’t the benchmark you make it out to be. Lagoon can get the exact ride they want and have the technical knowledge and staff to do so.

I honestly have to say I’m not impressed at all with that ride.
The more I’m seeing comments this type of ride is going to be either one you love or hate where as a ride like cannibal is one everyone will love.
