    Did the same thing on my Z a few weeks ago but I got BC Type BR coils with the voodoo toe arms instead of KSports, I'd suggest you go to harbor freight and get a bottle jack press machine and change out all the bushings for your suspension when you get the chance. That's what I plan on doing next, new coilovers make a big difference but they feel even better with brand new bushings all around.

    Great video dude!!! I I have some major adjusting to do on my 2008 350z coil overs. It seems the springs were compressed to lower it so it rides hard, especially in the back. The link you put in on the back when you took out the rear spring bucket, which one did you use. It wasn’t done on mine prior to me getting it. Also whenever you need to get a bolt man go to tractor supply and get a grade 8. Harbor Freight bolts are not as good of quality. Thanks for the video brother man you do a great job and I look forward to your help in the future, best to you man.

  • @Streatracer99
    @Streatracer99 5 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    Unless those coilovers have progressive springs, you do adjust height by compressing the spring. Not the base adjust. Set your base height so that full compression doesn't let the wheel hit the guard, then adjust height by compressing the spring. The spring rate doesn't change just by being compressed, it's linear 👍🏻

    • @youtubejunkie8053

    • @Streatracer99
      @Streatracer99 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@youtubejunkie8053 you can still set base height with them in the car because they pivot freely at the top, so you can just spin the whole unit and screw it down into the base that way 👍🏻
