Hi Cathy! Thank you for sharing this with us, both of you and Kichijoji look lovely =D I do wish to say something though. Sometimes saying & doing the right thing out love.. is not easy, and I hope that is not lost on anyone. Someone close to me just turned 32 and was recently diagnosed as a type 2 diabetic for having a long love of sweets and candies. It worried me a lot as I have a love of sweets and have been drinking very sweet and creamy coffees for years. I even noticed I was gaining some weight in the last couple of years. When I found out about this person becoming a diabetic, I did some research and found a healthy alternative to sugar that has allowed me to still drink sweet drinks without worrying about gaining weight and hurting my body. Between that and eating a reasonably healthy diet with whole foods, I have even lost some weight recently and it feels good too! I am incredibly thankful, and also of you Cathy. You have inspired so many people with your knowledge, values and genuine zest for life. Just to wrap this up, I hope everyone understands that I am not telling anyone how to live, and saying this was certainly not easy for me. It's more like presenting a personal story out of love and care : ) I apologize if this upsets anyone, you as well Cathy. Please stay positive, and don't worry, you are not about to become a diabetic. You have a very vibrant, SWEET and beautiful life ahead of you ='P P.s. Sorry to make you worried. I eat a lot of sweets, I guess I need to learn to counterbalance that with more exercise really. Suger alternatives are often not good for your health either, so I hope you found a healthy alternative for yourself. Just keep the right balance, exercise and enjoy things in the right measures. hmmm not directly... in bavaria its common to eat white sausage with prezels and the honey mustard goes with the sausage.... if you eat prezels for breakfast you kan dip it in butter and Jam

In Germany we don't have mustard on pretzels. We treat them like bread so we have butter, cheese or sausage meat on it.
