Legendary mountain biker Steve Peat has something to say... Travelling to the Lofoten Islands Steve rides some of Norway's finest trails set against the most epic of backdrops.

You won the first race I ever entered when you were in sports class and racing for Langsett Cycles..... been following your career ever since.
I packed in the racing 2 kids ago... those kids are now 16 and 17. And you are still going....

Mountain bikes rescued me from the dark side of what life can throw at you.....
By dark side do you mean cyclocross?
I remember getting up at 5am to watch you win the World Champs in Canberra, I've never felt so nervous for someone else before but the elation when you finally bagged it was incredible! Champion
This is one of the most beautiful mountain bike clips I've ever seen. I watch it every now and then for years and I feel it connects me to my inner self and the pure joy of riding my bike - that joy I had as a child which sometimes gets lost in my sometimes inauthentic adult life.
Cut Media, congratulations and thank you for this experience. The speech, the song, the views... everything is magical and I'm certain when anyone creates something this beautiful, it comes from the heart.
Truly a legend of a man, and i hope he will stay awhile to support and make some more of these awe inspiring edits for future generations.

This doesn't show any ground braking riding (other than those drone shots, they were amazing) but it does a great job of capturing why we all want to ride in the first place

He was one of the major influences that got me riding over two decades ago and I've followed his races ever since. I remember someone saying not long ago it's not often that you get nervous racing against a 40 year old and that says it all. Hope he gets the results he wants in his final year and that and brings it to the riders half his age.
