Home schooling is the last chance to ensure your children's future chances of development remaining unscathed and intact. As it stands today, the first casualty of school is innocence.
In the UK definitely. You have the internet with all the scholarly stuff you need to teach. In the outback home schooling was routine, school of the air. Some weirdos say oooh dear unsocialised freaks, no they play sport, join youth groups, scouts they just don't get poisoned by sexual predators and groomers posing as teachers
For Some children it’s the only way they get to see others/ socialise . One size does not fit all . Many children would be worse off . I homeschooled my youngest but it was hard for him to socialise.
Some of my grandchildren are home schooled and a few are not. Huge differences in the curriculum between the two groups, the level of maturity and commitment to education, and the intellectual inquisitiveness generated via the home schooling process. I went to parochial schools (way back when we still had nuns as teachers), and the discipline was there from pre-K through 8th grade-----the nuns had an uncanny way of weeding out those students who refused to work hard or were disciplinary problems in class-----the parents were called in after school, the student's desk was cleaned out and books returned, and we never saw the student(s) again. That's when school meant "business," and not filled with the woke fantasies that indoctrinate children today. Age-appropriate materials and books were the norm. Children were allowed to be children, and not miniature adults ready for exploitation. Home schooling is a commitment and a lot of work. However, your child's success or failure as an adult may hinge on what he or she is learning-----and a genuine education doesn't occur in schools anymore but rather in the home where all education should begin.
Homeschooling takes time and commitment but, having homeschooled both of my daughters for a few grades, I learned that it is doable. It doesn’t take eight hours each day to cover the material; most families I know needed only 3-4 hours per day. My heart goes out to parents who want to teach their children at home but work full time. Sometimes other relatives can help or two or three families can “club together” and help each other. It definitely takes creativity but there might be more options now that so many more families are considering homeschooling. Joining a local homeschooling parents’ association was a huge help to me. We shared ideas, had monthly excursions and projects for our children and, generally, supported each other.
100% yes, if you want them to grow up as secure, strong, confident ,moral adults without white guilt, gender confusion or cripplingly woke buzzwords and the dreaded blue hair!

Unschooling must be the norm. Also, let kids relate to other kids and adults in a natural environment. We need to return to perfecting crafts. Instead of university debt and woke education, let teens learn for free by helping a master. They could be great electricians, car repairmen and philosophers instead of being brainwashed slackers.

I don't think that homeschooling necessarily makes children anti-social. Parents can choose to homeschool their children in groups, they can still have friendships. By the way I've never been homeschooled but this is my thought
Socialization is important but our culture believes that it can only happen when children are grouped with others if the same age. That became the norm to help the teacher instruct large groups. Socialization, in my opinion and experience, is improved when children regularly interact with people from all age brackets. This can be achieved in many ways; it just takes some creativity.
If the school your child is attending is full on woke and doesn't want to change then yes, homeschool your child. My wife and I homeschooled both of our daughters right thru to high school [we're in Canada] and both attended either college or university and are perfectly great young women who have fit right in to society.
I don’t have the facts but I’m guessing that perhaps those buildings were all built around the same time with the same standard of design and building materials. That would cause them to degrade at a similar rate. This happened to a number of bridges in Canada and safety inspectors declared that X number of bridges needed upgrading to meet current safety standards. Again, I don’t know the details of the school buildings but this scenario seems plausible.
