Real Men Real Style are you wearing a navy suit or navy blazer sir? I am very confused between buying a navy color coat. The only difference that i found between them two was that suit had a matching pant and blazer didn't. Except for that i almost found that the jacket of suit and blazer were identical. I actually want to wear a navy jacket with with t shirt and jeans for a fresher's party. So what would you suggest?
I’ve always felt that the Navy blazer is the single most versatile piece of clothing in a business wardrobe. Paired with white /blue dress shirts; either grey or khaki dress pants, and the right tie, and you can pass acceptably in most formal business environments. Yet change the shirt and/ or tie, along with the shoes and you can comfortably fit in at less formal events.

When I'm styling looks for men, whether on set with male actors, fashion editorials or personal clients - I like to encourage men to step out of their comfort zone with color and patterns especially with button down shirts. Navy blazers are the best at having fun with this. Try light/pale pinks & yellows and small to medium checkered shirts. Even stripes. Since we're coming into spring/summer seasons, this is the best time to play with color/prints. Have fun!
I'm a fan of wearing a blazer with a more casual outfit. My go to navy blazer accompaniments are corduroy or flannels, a plaid shirt, and brown bluchers. This is a great smart casual look, just as long as the blazer is not worsted with structured shoulders.
I have a worsted Navy blue blazer . It's my fav outfit . I wear it with a white and blue stripped shirt and silver waistcoat, and Levi jeans and brown dress shoes It looks GREAT ! Very Dapper, But not too dressy . DML
Also, a Winchester Dress shirt (a style were the shirt collar and cuffs are always white, regardless of the color of the shirt) offers a dramatic contrast between blazer, shirt, and tie or ascot. If wearing a French Cuff shirt be sure that the blazer buttons and the cufflinks are the same color: gold with gold or silver with silver or opt for silk knot cufflinks which can complement the color(s) of the shirt , tie , ascot or pocket square.
You sir have a lot of knowledge about a blazer in one colour. i did not think for a second that something as simple as a blazer would be this detailed with rules etc. good job!

Because I cannot find any lighter colors on a vest in the local stores, and it's to late to order online because the occasion when I need it is very soon. So ive noticed that a lot of men get divots on the sleeve with the long shoulder length, i can see then in this video on you as well. Is that ok with blazers? I understand it has to do with shoulder length which one of mine is a little long and i get the divots but im thinking about changing that just not sure if i should go down in size then deal with lapel bulging...

A navy blue blazer is one of the jackets I'm wearing every day (the other one's light grey) and I usually combine it with a white, wine red or light blue dress shirt and navy or red chinos. Ocasionally I wear a v-necked green jumper or a t-shirt under the dress shirt as well. And all styles and colors work for me

you can wear suits lol, but I'd get them at a discount store or thrift. You're body is still growing so I wouldn't put to much money into it. You should wear polos I think atleast. You don't wanna have like 2-4 suits that fit you amazing and then not fit you in like 3-4 years lol
I am 15 as well and I get my suits in Outlets as thet are cheaper but what I really recommend is to get blazer jackets more than suits since they are just more versatile since one blazer can look different depending on the trousers and they look more casual so it's easier to pull off. If you really wanna get a suit, just get a navy suit to wear at parties and presentations, maybe another grey one or a more casual look for other events and then just buy a bunch of blazers which are gonna be way cheaper and better in general

+Colin Williams Yeah! The problem arises when the hues match up too closely as from a distance it can look like a suit. Classic Chinos - an excellent contrast to the navy blue blazer or grey flannel trousers. :) That's fine because you can wear your blazer multiple times because it's very interchangeable!

Shoes depend on pant color, but some shade of brown usually works best. Ascot should match the blazer but does not have to be solid and needs to contrast with the shirt.

It depends on the material of the blazer. Corduroy is a hard material to match.

Sounds good to me but I'm not an expert. I would go with a darker brown on the shoes with dark grey pants but that's just me.
