Strings are Elixir nanoweb, 11. As for the guitar my main hollow body is now a Sadowsky semi hollow, www.sadowsky.com/sadowsky-instruments/archtops/semi-hollow/
@@dariusscheider311 May I ask why? I picked up a used AS153 at GC and am considering exchanging for something else (I still have a few days to decide.) Not sure why I am not in love with it (although hearing you play it makes me wonder). Since you are so good, though, I would heed your reasoning on why you switched brands. Maybe there is something to my discontent with the Ibanez....? Thank you in advance!
@@cathytaibbi1945 The AS153 was fine but there was a part of the tone that was bothering me sometimes while playing, I was able to avoid it on that video. I would recommend that you check the Sadowsky semi- hollow, th-cam.com/video/TvdfzPvfxOk/w-d-xo.html it is the best semi hollow I have ever played. Killer tone and playability. The body size is also custom and extremely comfortable.
i can understand why the Sadowsky ($5000) wins in a landslide over the $1000 AS 153. It cannot be a fair comparison because the two guitars are in such a vastly different price and quality range. The Ibanez is very good for what it is, but comparing the Sadowsky to it is kind of like comparing a concert level violin to a student model. The Sadowsky costs even far more than a Gibson ES 335, which is certainly not cheap by any means. .
The dude just gave us a glimpse of his soul...and it was beautiful!
That's some sick playing brow!
Nice playing!
great playing, great tone.
Great tone out of that Ibanez
Those of us who own the Ikon Archer know the path to tone nirvana!
Perfect :)
awesome.
👍
Can you tell what string gauge you are using on your magnificient Ibanez AS 153

What amp did you use?
"slow"
Over reliant on one particular lick/pattern. You must've played it literally 15 times.
There's always a douchebag in the comment section.
