How many cells do you have in series (output voltage). What type of battery (C = 3.7V Lithium or F = 3.2V LiPo Lithium) and what is the meter set at (3C thru 5C or 3F thru 5F)?
mpjaonline Thanks for your reply it’s one of the tall blue packed batteries from eBay it’s a li- Lon polymer battery 12v 20000ah can’t seem to find out how many cells it has. I can’t seem to find out how to send you a picture of it. Barry
@@barrywebb101 Li-ion polymer are 4.2 V per cell 3 x 4.2= 12.6v this meter is designed for 3.2v or 3.7v Li-ion batteries packs; it will not read accurate for this battery. Thank You MPJA Inc
What voltage and battery type are you using? After reset what is the meter reset to? 1P etc. Next you need to press the button on the back to switch between percent and voltage. Let us know.
@@mpjaonline ive tried it on my golf cart 36v lead acid, yes its set to the proper setting according to directions, no matter what i do it says 100% . even as the golf cart slows it still shows 100 , going to set it up on a 12 v lifepo4 battery and see if it works on that. just tried it on my power supply and dropped voltage down to 10v and it does nothing still says 100% . in fact going to just throw it away .. it lights up thats it. get what you pay for. on golf cart it registers 36v but capacity never changes and it doesnt on my power supply. poor qc i guess not worth returning

Has anyone measured the current this draws at ~12V? It's not on the datasheet.
Honestly, you could just de-solder the button and solder some wires to it and put a different or the same button on.

This is what it says on the battery Li-ion polymer Lithium out put 12.6-10.8 V DC 20000mah

How can you shut it down? is there a way you can install a switch?
Yes you can install a switch to the power lead to turn it off and on

I have 4x 3.6V Lifepo4 batteries, which total to 12V 100AH Do you know if this unit would work on my batteries?
The data sheet only list lead acid and Lithium polymer, not Lithium iron phosphate battery. Probably best to find a meter designed for your battery.
