Hello to you + welcome to redoing my office/filming space!
Join me as I makeover my home office space, thrift a beautiful, old, cherry desk and repurpose materials. I do not believe beautiful spaces have to break the bank and I actually find enjoyment in discovering how I can utilize what I already have. Everything in this video was repurposed except for the copious layers of paint, crystal desk knobs and new rug. Other than that -- it was material I already had or material that was thrifted.
I definitely gave up about 20858492 times throughout the months it took to get this office done, but I'm really happy with the results and I look forward to working in this space just about every day. I hope you enjoy and are inspired to create spaces that are unique to you and make you happy to be in.

Benjamin Moore, "Come Sail Away" (I did NOT use Benjamin Moore's brand. I brought in the paint chip from an Benjamin Moore pallet and had Home Depot color match it. That'll save you $103330052 -- trust me).

Nice job, congratulations. I have a similar desk, you did a good job painting it. Why to face the wall while working?

Thank you so much! And that is a great question! I went through moving my desk to face the windows and then back. I chose to have it face the wall for filming purposes because there isn't enough room to film if I have the desk face my windows so I had to go with functional -- although I much prefer to face my windows!
