I've watched several tutorials on this stitch and they all had a different way to complete the row and turn and my edges were very uneven. After watching this tutorial, my edges are even and my blanket looks so much better. Thanks for this tutorial.
I love a fun V stitch! 21 foundation chains was perfect for wash rags! I whipped out 10 in no time! I was doing the waffle stitch previously and needed a change. Thank you!
Just want to say thanks for making videos like these! As a newcomer to the world of crochet, whenever I can’t discern a stitch by reading the pattern, I search for your tutorials & they help me so much :)
I absolutely love this stitch! I am crocheting wash clothes for Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes and already made 25 of them! I look forward to every video of yours! Thank you so much!
This is such a beautiful and calming stitch. I am using it for a temperature blanket and it’s so lovely that I’m placing it for all of my family members’ birthday months (3). Thank you so much for this beautiful and easy to follow tutorial. Your voice is so nice
Love that stitch and so easy!! Have to try it with variegated yarn and maybe one or two rows of different colors. Have to sample that. I’ll try that on baby blanket or afghan. Thank you for this beautiful stitch pattern.
Hi Sweet Sarah ❣️ I'm going to use this lovely stitch to make a wrap!!! Hope you & your family are well! Take Care, Hugs & Love being sent your way! :-)
I’ve been looking for an easy stitch to use my variegated yarn, most likely as s scarf, finally found yours which is just right. Thank you very much for this tutorial
What a pretty stitch pattern. I think I would use it for a baby blanket or maybe for an afghan to cover up on a cold winter day while binge watching the Turner Classic channel sitting on your sofa drinking a hot cup of chamomile tea..mmmm🥰.
Hi Sarah thanks you for this very nice stitch it's so easy too, I was looking for a stitch to do a top for a friend and this is it, Love your channel, your yarn is gorgeous xxx
Thanks a lot my dear for the a very good tutorial you are doing, I appreciate that very very much and I wish if do a tutorial the whole jacket or sweater. I would like to learn from you how to do that, I can do that but not in crochet so if you don’t mind please teach us All the best
Beautiful stitch! Can this stitch be worked up in the rounds? If so, how? For skirt or top or dress, would you advise crocheting in the round or making two panels?
I am wanting to make a blanket made of the different stitches I am learning from your videos. One block will be the Wattle Stitch. I want to put a Single Crochet border on all blocks to make them easier to put together I want my finished blocks to be twelve inches. My question is what other Stitches would you reccomened that has the same consistency as the Wattle Stitch? I would like to have four or six different stitches. Open to your suggestions.
I love your videos. I started off crocheting a few months ago with some Woobles (Amigurumi kits for beginners w/videos, etc.) and I loved having something to do with my hands. At the moment, I’m just trying to learn more stitches. I got a “Crochet Stitch Dictionary,” and I’ve been trying to use it, but could never make sense of the instructions, they often don’t match the pattern diagrams, so I keep turning to your channel. Do you have any recommendations for books of crochet stitches that do not have hundreds of inconsistent instructions? It really makes it hard for a beginner when the instructions are wonky!
Begging a blanket from foundation row is hard for me, as the stitches get way stretched out. Can I put a row of SC first then start the blanket? If so, will that throw off the counts? Thank youi -
I agree. The yarn she uses does seem to split. A soft yarn that does not split is Yarnspirations Premier Basix. It's not expensive so you should be able to at least try it. I really like it. My favorite right now is Premier Sweet Roll. Great colors, doesn't split and it's soft. What else could we ask for? I don't get paid, just my honest answer.

I just started again to crochet after my stroke. This is a beautiful stitch. Thank you I like the way you teach!

Beautiful. Could a front/back look be worked into this pattern to give it additional texture?

I'm going to make a scarf with this stitch and if I like it enough, may do a baby blanket.
Is there a way to decrease this to a point?
Love all your videos, but not the yarn unfortunately. Could you recommend a yarn that would be a good substitute? Thank You 😊
