I didn't fall in love with Leaders BUT it doesn't matter because I know talent when I see it and CL SLAYED. Lydia Paek is a dancer, singer and songwriter who has co-written many songs for YG artists, especially 2NE1.
She is the featured artist for the official release of the song, but CL has sometimes performed it in her place due to different circumstances.

I really like Lydia. I have a couple of her songs on my playlist. I find her voice is quite different from CL's and can tell them apart easily. (CL's voice is a lot more powerful.) R.O.D. was one of my top favourite GD songs until it got bumped down the list by others that I discovered or grew on me over time (same thing happened to "Missing You"). I do really like the song "The Leaders" too, though it had to grow on me. It was performed with Teddy in GD's 2009 concert "Shine a Light", that we all watched together 🥳❤. I also am pretty sure that GD and Lydia had something going at one point. There is a couple vids of them hanging out recording and another one celebrating the release of Coup d'Etat, and there are definitely glances and body language between the 2 of them. I am positive the lyrics she wrote for her version of "Eyes Nose Lips" is a personal sendoff to GD. Just my spidey senses kicking in there...🤔
At first pass I couldn't tell but I'd have to listen to both more to decipher the difference between them when they sing the chorus. Ahhh, I think I remember that now. I think the repeated "what's up" at the end that I was ready to move on.

CL sounds louder then lydia to Me, but they both have amazing voices and lydia our los Angeles girl She started singing on TH-cam, where she was discovered by Pharrell, but her music career really grew and got regonized at the age of 21 as she bevame one of YG Entertainment's top songwriters. Known for writing 2NE1's chart topping hits, In a interview back way then GD mentiond he Really wanted to collab with her and they did but she was working on many other projects.
I actually watched her when she was in so you think you can dance, she's a dancer too, used to be the only girl in a dance crew..

Oh wow, she sounds very talented. I guess her destiny was to do other things in this industry she must be skilled if she's still able to do what she truly loves and continue to work in the industry. Pharrell is a great music producer too so if she got discovered by him then I need to check out more of her songs and her work in general. Thanks for all of this info!

The thing is TOP adores chairs and there's this inside joke that GD does anything to please his hyung so... Why not dress up as a "sexy" chair? 🤣 You can Google "Gtop ship" or topnyong 😊
