This has been a labor of love that I've wanted to do since I first thought, "Hey, 'Don't Be a Dob' would make a good song." After the writing was done, I knew I would need some vocal reinforcements, so I sent out a call for help. @sophgrrau answered, and they knocked it out of the park! Many, many thanks!
Thanks also to all the amazing Oxventure fan artists who agreed to let me include their art in the video:

And, of course, the biggest thanks of all go to Jane, Andy, Mike, Luke, Ellen, Johnny, Producer Jon, and everyone else on the OXTEAM for the years of smiles and laughter! WE LOVE YOU ALL!

(P.S. Out of curiosity, do The Young People of Today recognize all, some, or none of the original songs parodied here? For that matter, do they know what "albums" are?)
NOW That's What I Call Music
Thanks for the inspiration!
glorious
Putting the Eldritch Blast crowd chant on the song was a stroke of genius, it's like it was made for live audiences to sing along
I think it was that crowd clip that first put that song idea into my head. It was just perfect.
"It's all gone a bit Mike"
~ Jane's last Hitman playthrough
You are not wrong. "No, don't go in the poison room! STOP NOTICING THE BODIES!"
"Don't make a mistake, don't throw our gold in a lake" is my new favorite song lyric of 2021
It was an absolute pleasure to work with Brian on this! I‘ve watching OutsideXbox since 2013, and I’m glad to be able to pay some smiles back!
You CRUSHED it, Soph. It wouldn't have been possible without you - well, maybe possible, but not listenable. :D
You can thank Jane from Out side Xbox for this view and comment 😁. The like was for the great job you did 👍🏻
Thanks (to you AND Jane)!
"Leave us alone, Mr Slenderman" made me ugly snort laugh.
Fantastic work.
...sorry, not sorry. And thank you!
Anyone else here from the podacst?
10/10 would absolutely buy the full album
Finally found this again! I remebered this being a thing but couldn't remeber who did it or what it was called.
"Put him in a box, in a box, put him in a box" ♡♡
These are genuinely amazing ♡♡
I kinda wish this existed
Bravo, standing ovation! I only wish I could hear the full songs and those that just had a title, as this would be a platinum record double album. Had to read all the comments too not to miss anything.
This is amazing. Taking Care of Bismuth really got me lol
I'm...slightly ashamed of that one, but as soon as the title occurred to me I knew it had to go in.
@@brianschoner3350 never be ashamed. Its gold.
Amazing! Slowly working my way through the podcasts and had to pause to hear and see this joyous glory! Cracking!
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it!
Put Him in a Box tho, such a classic
The gang started singing that themselves early on in their Hitman playthroughs, the scamps.
These are all delightful, and the subversion of "not available in Any stores" was a stroke of genius! Delightful work!
Thanks! I'm old enough to remember the original commercials, so that was necessary. :)
I don't know who you are but I love you for this. Thank you.
When I was
A young boy
My father
Told me not to be a pirate
And become a businessman
He said son when
You grow up
Would you be
Inheritor of the mansion, the horses and the land?
Thank you for this Ox Venture is exactly what I needed the last few years and, your video made my day it's going to be on Loop for a while so thank you for your time and energy knowing a fan like me
Just came here from the Oxventure podcast, very cool songs
Which episode, can I ask?
This is one of the rare videos where one "like" is not enough. I want to give 10+ likes. So creative!
Brilliant! Where can I buy?
There are so many high points of this video I can't find any thing bad about it. Amazing job amazing work, and if you do eventually make full versions of these songs, I know I will be right near the front to pay you for them
What I love the most is all the artist credits. Fandom done right
Thanks for noticing. I needed visuals and wanted to celebrate some of the amazing fan art out there, but I also wanted to make sure I had permission and gave credit. These folks do amazing work - go check them out!
Every single reference just keeps making this compilation better, I am now sad this isn't a full album 😂
I really want full versions of these now... :-D
The Slenderman one broke me, I really needed this today. Absolutely awesome work
Absolutely killed me too when I heard it for the first time!
I really want this to be real
Favourite title "Thunderwave by OC/XC"
It's the little details that make me happy. :)
@@brianschoner3350 its worth it - there isn't a second that isn't full of tribute
Phenomenal. I love it. This would be such a baffling video to stumble across with no context.
Best thing I've heard, like, ever.
Thanks for that, it was extremely delightful.
Thank you so much!
This is absolutely incredible. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you!
This is amazing!
The Morgan Monday one is that perfect type of obvious where you wonder how nobody else spotted it and are cross you didn't.
Excellent.
Holy shit this is amazing!!
ROTFLMAO! Love it!! :D
That's incredible!!!!!
These are all so amazing! It's hard to choose but I think "Don't be a Dob" is my favorite, closely followed by "Taking Care of Bismuth."
This is absolutely amazing. Like spike!
This is fantastic. Great work
*reads credit roll*
Cameraman James.. :'(
You're right. I am a bad person and should (and do) feel bad. Thanks for all you do, Camerman James!
Ellen in the egg room is incredible jsyk
Why thank you. I was rather proud of that one.
Damn, these are great
This. This is so good!!
Splendid and incredible. For round 2, maybe a Fear Song?
This was amazing
Freaking excellent.
Oh gods I'm silently cry laughing at work. Thank goodness for masks!
"A little bit Mike" killed me 😆 along with...various civilians...
I would absolutely buy these albums. Laughing so hard I'm crying!
Me too
This is absolutely amazing, Wow I love this! You can feel the love from it
Beautiful. This is really cute.
I don't know you, I have never met you, but I love you! These are phenomenal, if this was a real album I would buy it, please tell me your making it a real album,
Aw, thanks! I would love to, but there would be an awful lot of lawyers involved if I tried to make this a real album.
@@brianschoner3350 Damn lawyers and there being legally correct, only one solution I'm afraid, ELDRITCH BLAST!!!
I can't pick a favourite. Amazing.
Oh my god I love this. So clever and well executed!
This is amazing! 🤣🤣 Excellent job!
Thank you!
Incredible, well done 🤗
This is nothing short of brilliant! Cthullu is pleased!
Were do you buy the album?
Sadly, this is all there is.
Wow, an English Beat parody (Ellen in the Egg Room). And sooooo very accurate.
That was the song I was the most worried about someone recognizing - I'm glad someone knew it!
@@brianschoner3350 "Save It for Later" is probably better known, but it's like Gary Numan's "Cars" in that people recognize it from somewhere, but can only remember a few of the words.
Readers - go listen to some English Beat.
Or, if you're in England, just go listen to The Beat.
@@brianschoner3350 The name change here in the US market is a little weird, yeah.
Well done! Got some good laughs out of me! Excellent choice of songs as well!👏
Just pure perfection here.
Very well done! That was amazing!
I have a headache from keeping my laugh quiet. Oh dear.
I'm...sorry?
@@brianschoner3350 It's good, I'm fine, I'm fine.
Love the way this was done, amazing work
I've listened to this so many times in the last few days, these are so great! Thanks for the hilarity.
This deserves so much more love
Classic
I have listened to this 10-15 times in the past 2 days. This is amazing! Taking care of Bismuth is my favorite.
Thanks so much!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
