    He reminds me of Ronde Barber and Charles Woodson. Not your prototypical lengthy CBs that play in isolation, but are highly intelligent and athletic gamewreckers that can break up every play. It’s really fun to watch.

      It’s awesome! Honestly I love to watch the guys with High IQ and anticipation play at Corner rather than purely traits-based prospects. It’s way more fun to watch, especially with Witherspoon who is so tenacious in every phase!

      @@TheJumboPackageI was watching a video on DK and he said that after the rams game (which we played only 1 half badly through 4 games!) Bobby Wagner aka Bwagz called a team meeting at practice after they were done with stretching, all on his own, told the entire team that they must play better football, especially vs team they should beat! It obviously had an effect as Seattle went to Detroit and beat a really good football team (Also Detroit was coming off a win @KC, the defending Super Bowl Champs!
      Imo, it’s Philly & the 49’ers at the top of the NFC, then it has to be Seattle & Detroit on the 2nd tier! Lastly, why didn’t Pete Carroll win COY? Every sports analysts were saying Seattle would be lucky if they won 3-4 games! Well they won triple as many games predicted by the media and earned a wildcard spot in the playoffs! Geno played exceptionally well, lead the league in completion percentage, broke Wilson’s record for most yards passed in a season, took Seattle to the playoffs, and won CPOY! While Russell Wilson had his worst season EVER❗️Denver barely won 4 games! And that trade will go down as 1 of the most lopsided trades in NFL HISTORY…Seattle used the players and draft capital to effectively rebuild, while still making the playoffs! Again why didn’t Pete win COY? Or Schneider winning GMOY? Seattle still doesn’t get the recognition they deserve! HC Brian Dabol of the NY Giants won COY last year and this year the Giants look like 1 of the worst teams in the league @1-4! While Seattle looks like 1 of the best teams…Rewind 10 years ago and Pete & John built the infamous LOB and literally 1 of the best defenses in the history of the NFL! They even went to back to back Super Bowls and should’ve been 2x Super Bowl Champs had Russell not throw an INT at the 2 yard line! Everyone wants to blame Pete for the loss, but that’s on Russell, period! After that disappointing loss, Seattle had to decide whether to pay Wilson a huge contract or keep their defense intact? Which also created turmoil between the offense & defense! But even with all those distractions, Pete managed to keep winning and getting into the playoffs year after year, regardless of what happened, Pete still did an outstanding job of keeping the team competitive! Pete Carroll will go down as the best HC in Seahawks history! He should also get into the HOF, he’s only the 2nd or 3rd HC to win a college championship and an NFL championship!

    • @TheJumboPackage
      @TheJumboPackage  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JJDonoghue definitely an interesting question as to why he didn’t get coach of the year. I think it’s a little bit of people thinking the Giants had a worse roster than the Seahawks and thinking that Daboll was carrying DJ rather than Carroll needing to carry Geno since Geno actually seemed like a good starter. Not sure, but just a guess!

    I'm a real man and I will admit when I was wrong and I was wrong because I didn't even give Witherspoon a chance. I just was hung up on Jalen Carter.
    Of course watching him now for the last 2 weeks and the film on him and the way that he is shutting down wide receivers no matter what they do is phenomenal and his aggressive mentally doesn't put himself in harm's way as much as you think he would, so I'm super impressed

    • @TheJumboPackage
      @TheJumboPackage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They actually have kind of a gauntlet coming up! I’d love to see him against Ja’Marr Chase, Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, and AJ Brown/Devonta Smith. It’s a little difficult at this point in time to tell if he’ll matchup directly on those guys. He’s played 2 games on the outside and 1 in the slot. 1 of his outside games he was the #1 CB because Woolen was hurt. I’m really interested in Witherspoon v. Devonta Smith because of their similar size, but for that same reason I was to see him vs. AJ Brown to see him play against someone much larger than him!
