- The rookie and reigning AFC defensive player of the week Pat Surtain has been AMAZING this year, and already has a lot of elite traits. He is quickly becoming a top young corner in the league and I believe is going to make many pro bowls in future years!

Will be a pro bowler and all pro corner for years to come. Not even a debate. He is already deserving of those discussions as a rookie.

4.42 is really fast for a CB for a 40 yard dash time especially at 6'2
INCREDIBLY FAST! and that’s straight away speed, which can be counterfeited when making sharp cuts when you’re tall.
but not with this guy, he has great hips and it allows him to stay fast moving all over the field so he can play press man at his height

@@Mr.Pip_ Talib was good. Not on Champs level though. Champ was the best defensive player in football for a couple of years. Hoping Surtain & Simmons live up to their hype...looks good early.

Man I wanted the Broncos to draft Parsons last year, his tape in college was a once in a generation level elite. PS2 didn't make quite the impact of Parsons year 1, but after watching his college tape, plus year one in Denver, he's the real deal and will be in the dpoty convos with Parsons in the future.

He’s who I wanted my cowboys to get but in retrospect Micah parsons is the better player and position of need for the cowboys. But I still imagine surtain and diggs on each side and it gives me goosebumps.
there's some good corners coming into this years draft that I think the cowboys should target in the first or second round! maybe not surtain level, but having parsons is a must and is going to be a staple for years!

Okay,a player who needs a film brekdown is a player who is a elite qb,but got injury and then he returns and dont returns in the way he was playing before but he played a good game last week and he gives me a little hope in the last 2 weeks

this DB class is DEEP this year!! they also need another edge rusher, but could probably get a really solid corner in the second round as well!

This video and these predictions have aged pretty well, as after one week of training camp under a new coaching staff, he is the media's choice as best player in camp so far. He is lighting it up, and that's against Russel Wilson (who looks great so far when not throwing towards Surtain), not Drew Lock or Teddy Bridgewater. I'm really excited to see him take a step forward this year.
The next champ Bailey in Denver. And champ is my favorite player of all time so that’s hard for me to say but PSII is the future and the present.
that's a super lofty comparison champ is really that dude, but PSII is more than capable to string together an AMAZING career. he really has it all!

Agreed lofty expectations but I can see PS2 approaching Bailey numbers if he continues to develope. The tough thing is corners like PS2 draw the toughest assignments week in and week out. We'll see if he rises to the challenge. I believe he will.

I see what you're saying! my thoughts on him changed a bit when I saw him in the senior bowl. I got some Kellen Moore vibes, it's just easy to see that the arm talent isn't where it needs to be at.. but might have to take a deeper look!

you're not wrong. I had a whole thing about him how he's leading the league in passes defended, and surtain is #4, but it didn't end up making the video. JC is getting a video eventually!!
He was a can't miss prospect. Paton saw it. He didn't see the QBs ahead of him worth missing out on PS2. He took a lockdown corner in a division with Mahomes, Herbert and the other guy... Craig? Chris? Kyle? Rich Gannon in mascara? Whatever. Anyway, Paton took PS2 and decided Bridgewater would at least occasionally resemble a professional quarterback, and he decided to try for Watson (immediately bailed after the rubdowns), Rodgers, or Wilson. Now look where we are.

id say hes already an elite corner hes just not recognized for it because hes young and overshadowed by micah parsons.
i think he even had a decent chance of making the pro bowl this year!
but you're right, Micah is the story, but that's also very deserving. i think both of those guys are going to have great/long NFL careers!

@@purklepanda5574 corner is one of those positions that is a lot of name recognition. because stats can be a little deceiving sometimes. like how is AJ terrel not a pro bowler

Everyone's crying about the Surtain pick over Justin Fields but I see why we did it. We wanted to give Lock one more chance to earn his spot on the team with veteran competition in Teddy Bridgewater while giving a defensive-minded coach another piece on defense he can utilize
i didn't mind the pick at all either!! but i think lock got his final chance :/
but denver is going to be a very appealing destination for a premiere QB this offseason so i wouldn't worry about it
drew might play better this year with a better coach and scheme. also our defensive calls if you watch the whole game were not good at all. now that vic vangio is gone patrick will do better also. we coming up boys.

but where my thought process is that they are in a division with mahomes and allen. they have a team that i think could compete with those guys right now with a wilson or rodgers. but i don’t see them being real threats in the division with drew in the next 2 years. let me know what you think though

hmmm, i see what you're saying with that. But also he did have DPOY like numbers as a rookie, so it might be hard to ignore him. But jerry is always great at getting his team in as many prime time spots as possible, so it could've been inflated. But on the flip side Surtain was not talked about NEARLY as much as he should have with the year he had. I will give you that 100%
