This location is the very heart of Yangon. Sule Pagoda is the landmark of the central Yangon.
The Maha Bandula Park is adjacent to Sule Pagoda where the Independence Monument is located. The City Hall is also right in front of the park.
What is interesting in this area are the religious worship buildings of different religions. The mosque, the church and the pagoda are all few meters apart only. What an evidence of a peaceful community. It shows that people regardless of religious beliefs can live in peace and harmony!
