I was able to travel to Burma from Vietnam about 5 years ago. It took me years to plan .... I must admit one of the reasons I visited Burma was because of Sung San Suu Kyi ... It is such a beautiful country, with a rich history, it's people are so courageous and have lots of potential and so much to offer to the world ... Thanks for the video. One thing about the Burmese people is they don't bother you. They go about their own business unlike in India or Bangladesh where crowds of people stare & follow you especially if you are a tourist. You hardly see kids running around on the streets unattended in Yangon.
Had the pleasure of visiting Myanmar, 2 years ago. I really enjoyed every minute of it. The Burmese people are such a friendly and welcoming people. I do hope peace and democracy will be restored to the Burmese people. Love and prayers from the Philippines.
I moved to the United States from Myanmar 20 years ago and haven’t had the chance to go back since. I miss it so much! Seeing Yangon like this, a lot has changed but some places remains the same.
