Yazmyn Cartet bro dega needs to stop trying to be a swac band and stick to the trash HBCU schools, colleges like A&T are more their speed. They don’t even have a football team but every Mardi Gras season they come out here only to get wailed on. I guess the only way for them to get better is to battle the better bands. Dega sucks their band is big as fuck, 300+ people and even if they didn’t bring their whole band they surely beat Alcorn’s memeber count and Alcorn still ate em up and they do it to them every time. Even TxSU beats the pants off of them. The Dega fans on this platform that keep saying dumb ass shit in the comment section when they get their ass beat (100% of the time) have no knowledge of musicality and do not understand what a good band sounds like, if you like loud and you don’t really care about important details when it comes to music which is pretty much all of degas fan base is understandable. But you can’t just say these incompetent things that run out of your mouths like water fountains and not expect to get called out on it. Lol
I might call this a tie... with a slight edge to Alcorn. Their trumpets were definitely a problem for Dega. I think if Alcorn brought more horns in general this whole battle could've went differently, because I can't say Dega just sounds better than them. They just overpower them at the end of the day. Corn actually has better balance, blend and tone. Arrangements pretty much the same level. But It's a tough one Good job to both bands
