Watching this reminds me of seeing the Legion in person at the Tournament of Roses Parade in 2023. Their lines were sharp then as they were yesterday in Indy. They clearly stand out among other bands in any parade. Just amazing to watch and listen. Keep up the good work! BEHOLD!!

Spartan Guards! They protect the band. There are times when fans and sometimes players interfere when band marches in at games. The Spartan Guards move quickly into action.
@mobtown2518 please educate yourself. The very tone of your question seems patronizing. Other than "protecting" the dancers and acting as informal band security (as they are not professional security guards), they are also master showmen with strong paramilitary/ROTC influences -- even Big Ten honor guard influences like Michigan State. There is nothing wrong with a man bearing colors. The FAMU flag corps was once all male and was called The Dirty Dozen before becoming co-ed. In New Orleans high school bands you will see plenty of talented young men enthusiastically high stepping and bearing the colors of their school proudly. It works for the Legion and part of many elements that make this program unique!
Are the dancers really wearing what looks like stilettos in a parade? That's not even a ballroom dance shoe/heel. Not a good decision...at all. They're cute but not for a blocks long parade. Those are dancing in the stands shoes. They probably couldn't feel the balls of their feet when the parade was over. The band sounds good, though.
