For what it’s worth, the autopilot feature works on Gen 1 S3XY buttons too. I have been happily using it for almost a month now with my Gen 1 commander and buttons 😊
I just got my gen 2 buttons and sadly found out the wiper speed controller functions have been taken away for the 0.5 increments in wiper speed. This was the main feature I wanted because I live in a rainy environment. Everyone please reach out to the developers and asked them to enable the incremental wiper speed functions once again. It's in the UI but the wipes only actually move to the 4 speeds and auto. Please help us get this back. Thanks for your support.
Their site talks about how some features only work when there is a driver seated. Does the trunk open feature work when there isn't a driver seated? I was already looking into these, because we're going on a camping trip and there doesn't seem to be any way to open the trunk/hatch from inside the back with the seats folded down, unless you use the screen which is a reach, or use your phone, seems like there should've just been a button from the factory over by the seat fold button. The Autopilot lane change thing is pretty neat too since we just have Basic in our Y (FSD in our 3)
Can I engage autopilot/autosteer/cruise control but not FSD? I want the stalk to remain FSD but use the button to cruise control. Can I use the button to do instant Performance mode ?
Does it still worknif you activate AP with the stalk? Or does it only work when you use the button? Also, what happened to Matt over at Tech Forum? Haven’t seen any new videos from him for a while.
I wish it would just click itself for real no nag.. it knows it’s getting the nag as it pulses blue when in landscape mode. So just have a button that click once and when it senses the blue pulse it does action. NO Nag really hoping the latest bugs get fixed in 2024.32.6…
All VWs automatically re-engage Travel Assist (which is much better than Auto Pilot) whenever you change lane ... there is no need to buy or install extra accessories and gadgets sold on the parallel market, Tesla really is just fireworks!
If you purchase FSD for your Tesla you never disengaged its all automatic. This is for folks that did not purchase FSD/Full Self Driving. VW travel assist is a gimik, constantly veering off and requiring you too look at a specific angle.

It works with using the stalks too. But the button is easier. because you need to put the AP in double press.

How much faster is the horn function? I have the buttons on my X and the delay is the same compared to the video.
