Really found this intensely interesting. I had always wondered about how a polyvalent antivenom could work with any degree of efficacy. Really informative!
Salute to all the survivors and deepest condolences to families who lost their loved ones to snake bite. And kudos to our doctors, scientists and lab technicians for moving forward and making huge difference in treating deadly snake bites.
Wow! Informative and educational. I can't believe that 50,000 people a year die in India every year due to snakebite. Absolutely unbelievable! Very important research! Kudos to the doctors and scientists involved.
Though the WHO ( South East Asian Regional office , New Delhi ) had published guidelines for treating venomous Snakebite cases ( in 2010 ) , it is yet not known to 90% of the doctors of India. This subject is badly neglected in the medical colleges of India.
