  • Advice and personal experience buying Chinese CNC direct from manufacturer. LINTCNC cost me over $3800 in wrong shipping and lack of care. Poor quality CNC with a lot of issues.

    I'm in Germany and I have also some "interesting experience". Here the bussiness-structure was perfect incl transport, but I wanted a spindle with a head to use toolholders and automatic tool changer - this spindle was available but I dont got it mounted.
    finaly it was confusing, but I have a machine that works - to a good endprice !
    It reminds on two videos I have seen on youtube buying a metal- lathe in china
    1) A german man who shows up what does not work, or is incomplete - summary: the lathe is scrap and not worth the money.
    2) A polish man with the same machine: He shows what he found, that was not perfect on his lathe incl. produce of a sparepart. - his summary after two month working on his maschine: Super machine absolut precise to a price you can not get a machine with such equipment in europe !
    Maybe we have to think in a different way, because if you calculate building this machine yourself - the chinese can not be able to earn to much money with such a machine and so there will be the one or other point they try to save money.

    I know Alibaba accepts PayPal now, so you think that would have changed the outcome on getting some reimbursement?

    What were the customs cost? I'm worried I'm going to get hammered with that. Currently looking for a Customs broker. Thanks

      @TrendSigns 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Customs is going to different and probably more expensive since I imported. Just make sure you use your local Customs Broker or you may get screwed over like LINTCNC did to me. However, Import costs were not too bad, but when you add $3500 - $4000 on top because LINTCNC screwed me over. then it really hurts.

    Which machine is good from china? Do you think blue elephant 1212 is a good machine.

      I think I would go with Acctek or Blue Elephant.. However I would do more research before committing. I have been talking to Acctek for a Laser Fibre Machine. The quality and service does seem better. However I have as yet not bought from them.

    I've just gone through a similar process to you, importing a 1325 CNC router to Australia(Adelaide). By the sounds of it, I was quite lucky. I'm sorry to listen to your story but it needs to be told. The machine I bought was from Style CNC, I got what I paid for and was overall happy but the points you raise, iso9000 for example are quite laughable.

      WOW.. Gongrats to surviving the worst video on the the internet. With all the issues with it I still think its a fun toy. I laugh at all the issues as they are typically easy fixes after a learning curve... Ive made a few jobs on it now.. Aq few more to do too. Will have a more positive update soon..

      @@Alex-du9ok In the end the total price was around $15400 I'm fortunate that my brother owns a crane truck so there was a fair cost saving there at both ends.

      @@Alex-du9ok I bought a from Style cnc, if I had my time again I would have bought Blue Elephant. It probably would have been more expensive but their build quality is better, mainly around the frame strength. I'm a hobbiest so for what I do it's ok, not great, not shit.

    So is there a machine you wish you had got instead?

    • @TrendSigns
      @TrendSigns ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes... There are two companies that are a LOT better (I think)... considering LINT CNC cost me $4k in unnecessary incompetence I could have bought a higher quality machine with more options. Live and learn.... After fixing many, many issues with the machine its running very well now. I have already made a few signage jobs that have earn half the cost back already so it was still a good investment. Im having a tone of fun learning and producing some great results. So I am actually happy with it.... now.

    This is a proper machine to buy and surely not those 3 I ordered from Forsun Jinan CNC, and they were never delivered because:
    The multirouter FS2040 could not be put together, as Forsun admitted repeatedly their incompetence to do this.
    The 2nd, a 5-head CNC cutting machine was produced with 1 oscillating knife tool less, and they said they can't make it as agreed.
    The 3rd machine, a hybrid laser, was never proved to be in a working condition, as they never sent us any such video.
    Regretfully, they are refusing compensating us or even giving us full refund of our $19,050 we paid as an advance payment.
    Alibaba pretends to know nothing, and they seem to be totally useless
