I've had the first Dragon's Dogma game in my Steam library for like a year, haven't opened it yet. Watching this got me to start playing, thanks so much!!
I just have to say this is a perfect party in terms of clashing/complimenting personalities. The Arisen is your bog-standard (in a good way!) unwilling heroine, thrust into destiny beyond her ken, and absolutely *stressed* about it. But at her core, she's a good person, so she's going to give it her best effort. Her Pawn seems less like a conscious creation and more like her subconscious making up for what she lacks. Squibbly is as much emotional support as she is magical support for Issa (and the rest of the party), and that, to me, is what Pawns are all about. Mr. Princess, in short, is the answer to "If cats could talk, what would they say?" The answer being "Nothing nice!" That said, it makes me wonder how an elderly dowager managed to get the dragon's attention enough to be chosen as the Arisen, though clearly she decided hanging out at her house with her talking cat was way better than chasing after the dragon and all that. And then there's Dave, who quickly became my favorite. He's just a dude, in the middle of all this madness, in a part with a stressed elf, a dwarf on a permanent sugar rush, and a grumpy cat in a pink dress. Though it does again make me wonder, what did Dave Prime ("Alpha Dave" just doesn't sound right) do to get the dragon's attention? Are other realities really that lacking in heroes?
The DM has a solid narrative tempo, well done
Jasmine is great!
Please, we need more of this cast and DM Bronze!!!
I haven't played this game, but I adore this cast! Also, the set looks fantastic! 🤩
Our set designer, Daniel Baxter, is phenomenal. Thank you for noticing!!!

Well, this is just an absolute delight.

Dave's entire life could be a Rube Goldberg machine where he does one tiny, inconsequential thing and then cause & effect kicks a dragon in the teeth.
@@nightcatarts Considering how Dave was the MVP in both battles (the first very much a product of circumstance), I can 100% see this.
Bruh what a banger playthrough. Would love to try this out with my friends
This is amazing, great job everyone :o i'll share this with my TTRPG group fr fr
Now that Jonah is directing the Dropout specials, this is an all Dropout friends production lol
The Dave abides
Love an adventures grumpy ally cat dressed up as an adorable princess. I definitely became a Mr. Princess-stan in the first couple of minutes.
Ooooooooo. You aren't going to want to miss this one. The production quality is off the charts
fun times :D Great cast. And when you bring in anyone from MST3K things get wacky.
I don't like liveplays, but I loved this 😊
Looked through the description but I didn't see anything regarding the adventure or custom rules.
Might be in video
@@jamalbayliss8523 it's not, but they said it's supposed to be in the description and I don't see it there either.
It's in the description now.
WTF I'm watching...
It's called a tabletop roleplaying game. They've existed since the 1970's.
you're watching friends playing with each other, which is something that is probably foreign to you
A good time 😉
