    I got one the other day. First day worked 12 hrs. It was different but I could tell a huge difference first day. I let mine float and really like that. Just have to get use to how to control the head. I highly recommend it

    You need to spin the stock handle 180 degrees. It makes it great for edging. The way you have yours now the stock handle is useless and just extra weight.

    Broooo, you're awesome! First of all, Darwin Grip should receive a "nobel back pain relief prize" and you should be honorable mention, like for real! I'm 6'5", with extremely long arms, and your recommended placement of this product is PERFECTTTTTTT.....for me!........Thank you so much for this content, keep doing what you're doing and I wish you the best!

    I order the Darwin’s grip because of back pain and because I’m diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis which is a. Nueromuscluar disease that cause extreme weakness. I think having a strap across my shoulders while holding the Darwin’s grip will help maintain some muscle strength and alleviate fatigue and pain. I’m expecting it to be delivered by the end of the day and I cannot wait to try it out.

    The existing trimmer handle has three different positions.
    Someone created a great solution for a problem that potentially doesn't exist.
    Try a handle adjustment before investing in what may not be needed

    Not bad & nice design & materials .Would be good when using hedging or saw attach for overhead work anything else i'd stick with bull handle & full harness if nothing else for speed,comfort & most importantly control .Regarding shoulder pain i would advise using an across shoulder harness with a really thick soft pad as the strap can dig in on the top of the shoulder, tho that depends on how heavy the weedeater is ,however it still better than carying the dam things

    i'm bought this darwins grip because i'm simply to tall for these string trimmers and they would make my back sore and I literally had no way around saving my back with stock handles. I notice myself when i run the grip, I have it completely strait but without thinking i'll end up finding myself holding the corner of the handle where the handle meets the shaft so i have half my hand on the handle and half my hand on the shaft that goes down towards the trimmer. I am kind of thinking of canting it to the left side like you do and see how it treats me. Maybe it's just the way our hands are or something but I find it the weirdest thing that I always end up grabbing the corner part of the handle lol.

    I just ordered one sadly I’m not gonna get it till May 15 but I’ve been mowing lawns since I was 12 and I’m 15 now and I’m 6 foot one so needless to say my back has definitely had a toll taking on it even at my young age just because of how I have to bend over so I’m really hoping this can help my productivity thankfully though I have things like my zero turn and all those other things so I don’t have too much fatigue although I am very blessed because at 15 it wouldn’t hurt me if I had to push mow everything but I’m very thankful that I don’t have to but great video God bless

  • @CA34562
    @CA34562 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    I bought the darwins grip, it does the job. But i feel like theres alot of room for improvement. To name a couple..
    - Handles i think are too thick and add to forearm fatigue.
    - currently made from metal.. and not aluminium like they should be. Causing it to be uncomfortably heavy.
    Depending on where you have it mounted, it may prevent it from going on your equipment defender/green touch racks.
    As for customer service. There is NONE! He doesn’t respond to emails period. Its a great concept. But i cant imagine him lasting long if any competitors enter the market.

    • @CA34562
      @CA34562 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It does actually make a difference. As it’s currently sold, it’s suited more for right handed people and slightly inconvenient for left handers (im left handed). For a product thats selling point is ‘comfort’.. you shouldnt be saying that to customers.
      Luckily, the grip handle is symmetrically shaped. So you can rip the grip tape off the handle and flip it over so the its now setup for left handers. But it requires a bit of extra work to do..
