Yeah, its an amazing trail. It's actually closed due to last year and this year washouts of the trail. Not sure if it will reopen.

Well the mountain peak might be in the video, the trail is Blanca Peak.

Thanks, Make sure you check out if its open. It was severely washed out last year. They didn't reopen at all the whole year.

@@RORAOFFROAD Things change a lot out west and there is sometimes a small window for no snow. Was there snow when you were there or was it more late June? Sorry for details as I would like to go but finding the best time to be there. 😊

That trail is usually cleared early. There was no snow and it was middle to late June.

They dont build them like they used to.

What are you driving?

We are funning a Fusion4x4 D60 rear. 5.13 w/ ARB locker. Front is a 44 with RCV axles shafts, reinforced C gussets.

She just showed up that morning. Just walking along the creek.

Thank you! I wouldnt run anyrhing smaller than 35. It maybe doable but the undercarriage damage may not be worth it.. A tank of gas should get you through. Carrying extra never hurts. I had to run the first 3 miles 3 times to get the broke XJ back to Loon and then back to the group.

This trail has a lot of obstacles you dont want to fall off. The scenery is amazing. This also one of Colorado 14K foot peaks. Thanks for watching!

3" and 35". No lockers

Thanks for the reply. I’m thinking about taking my 3rd gen 4Runner up that trail this summer and hopefully get to the lake. It’s got 32 inch tires, a rear E-locker, and a 3 inch lift. It has about the same wheelbase as the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Do you think I’d have a chance of making it with this setup? I know a lot of it depends on line choice. I’ve done similarly difficult trails before, but I know this one is pretty daunting.

It would be about line choice and not breaking anything. Some obstacles have bypasses. It would be do able with someone with trail experience.

32 inch tires.. going to be alot of carnage.

This years trip is already schedule with the dates. We would love to have you!

This is a very popular hike. You need to reserve spots. The hike isnt to hard, intermediate I would say. The reward is well worth it!
