Orlando Gardener, I have a 12 year old cc in the ground. Since watching your channel, I now use homemade fish emulsion from sheepshead carcasses. I also feed the tree with calcium, iron, manganese, magnesium. In late September after July's fruit harvest, I put a tarp under the tree to deprive it of water since it's well established. Since using the fish emulsion and tarp, tree has produced fruit 2 years in a row for the 1st time! Oh my, you are sooo correct on how delicious this variety is. Definitely a top #10! TY for your advice Sir from Palm Harbor, Florida.
My neighbor gifted us this tree which took 10 years to discover that it CC mango, thanks to you! But after 7 years it started to bear fruits. Does it take this long in India to bear fruits ?
Lol @ rollercoaster mango. That’s too funny but true. I only have 4 named variety trees and this is one of them. I don’t like that it’s taking so long. I need something more productive and consistent. But I’m still going to keep it for now
I agree completely. My coconut cream seems to finally be holding fruit this year. My fruit punch is loaded…for now. Last year fruit punch held one small one and coconut cream none.
Why not prune the tips and get more branches and maybe more fruit. That’s what I did with my citrus and soon after they started flowering like if it was going out of stile
Mangos done thrive in zone 8 or below. They have to be protected or brought inside in front of a window. If you have a heated greenhouse it can work or potted but the production is lower.

Nice trees bro respect from california Zone 10A
My cc held fruit this year (4yearold) and we have harvested 40 full sized mangos. It’s been worth the wait, can’t wait till next year
What is it looking like this year
Lots of mangos but some fell during a bad storm
Do you sell trees
Not really every now and again I will have a tree for sale but I mostly direct people to nurseries
Why not prune the tips and get more branches and maybe more fruit. That’s what I did with my citrus and soon after they started flowering like if it was going out of stile
They look so healthy
Got one CC fruit on my three gallon but i dont expect it to hold. That was my favorite mango last year.
I was sad about CC...until I tasted uber-productive M-4. Coconut Who?
Don't have the space to grow a tree that only yields 6 fruit. Unless it's Pineapple Pleasure
@@greatergood3706 all of this!!!
@@Carlos1075 definitely not M-4, every M-4 I know produces like crazy.
That’s great news bc I’ve got them both growing in my yard! Thank You OG for the video.
Olanda will this plant thrive in zone 7b
