Amazing garden thank you for sharing. I grow my Glenn and nom doc mai in pots and carry inside for our Maine winters. Both trees are just now starting to flower indoor in southern windows with grow lights on them.

Never seen Orlando area soil stay flooded like that, very weird. Is this place way out in Western Orange county with less sandy soil or is it filled with a too thick organic layer that doesn't drain?

Alex from Tropical Acres Farm says this is an outstanding flavored variety, fruiting until August.

I planted a 7 gallon USDA Himsagar from Tropical Acres Farm July 9th. It's currently flushing new leaves for the second time since being planted. Large enough to hold fruit, hope it flowers.

You know a mango is delicious when you are watching someone else eat one and all you have is a mouthful of saliva. Nice

Remember that the only way to get true to fruit is with a graft. Mango is a great starter tree for new grafters. All you need is hearty root stock and a scion from what you like. Seeds will be a genetic union of both trees. Plus, grafting will give you small productive trees in 3 years. Our mangos on Kauai were mostly planted by pig hunters at the site of dressing an animal. 80 feet tall and tiny little fruit, if any. Small trees in your reach is the best. Aloha!

Sadly i live just a few streets from where the lives were lost in St lucie County. Wild ride for sure. I had to prop back up several trees.
