I bought Zara femme and fell in love! But it’s doesn’t last at all On my skin so I have been on the hunt for something similar but better quality and JHAG is at the top of my list along with This is Her by Zadig & Voltaire and hypnotic poison. Can’t wait to try them all.🥰
I put on half a spray of Shaghaf Oud Tonka on my arm (dabbed it with my other arm) and layered a full spray of Hypnotic Poison on top of that. It brings out the almond a lot better. Layering these two perfumes has helped me gain the longevity and projection that I want. Just beware that on its own Shaghaf Oud Tonka has amazing projection, long lasting, and very VERY strong. The almond note is prominent but has a synthetic smell. Im a person that HIGHLY DISLIKES oud. But this oud is very well blended it doesnt bother me at all. Sometimes oud has a poopy smell but this does not do that at all. This perfume is AMAZING and only costs $50 on Amazon.
Caraway is what gives it the root beer note that a lot of people get. HP is my all time favorite! I don’t think anything can quite dupe it 🥰. Apparently some people say Christina Aguilera By Night is kind of a dupe as well (it’s not lol).
It’s funny how personal it is, I don´t get similarity between Kenzo Amour and HP Dior. I absolutely love Kenzo, for me that’s intimate, delicate and unique. It does reminds me a baby powder, but I can’t explain how much I love this on my skin. It’s the type of scent that makes people want to hug you and be close to you. If a romantic poem could be a fragrance, this would be the one. HP Dior - for me - smells too cheap and synthetic, when it dries down it’s like those caramelized almonds we buy in the airport, I couldn’t like it unfortunately.

I think I’m the only person on TH-cam who does not like hypnotic poison. The dry down is ok, but the initial spray is medicinal. And it has no projection at all was gone after 3 minutes. It’s a skin scent, and I over spray. I ordered poison girl, hopefully I will have a better experience.

I blind bought JHAG Mmmm and fell in love with its scent. I even layer it with Zara Femme for an overdose of vanilla.

I agree. Amour by kenzo is my favorite fragrance but Im almost anosmic to Dior HP, I can barely smell anything on this perfume.

I tested it years ago. I don t remember very well but what I do remember is the absolu version was a way stonger version of the original
