This makes me so happy. I've been to hundreds of metal/rock concerts through the years and I've NEVER seen this before. I need to see some hardcore/punk bands!

I think they’re transitioning to Shoegaze/Dream Pop on their next album. Still supporting this band.
I think so too lol. Parts of Glow On shows what they're next album will be like. I live in Baltimore and still supporting them but not as much. Underwater Boi is not hardcore obviously lol. Maybe in some other way. But anyway, I bet they're gonna transition more towards the LGBQT community. Not my thing but to each their own. Roadrunner will probably drop em after the next album. Depending on how many records they're contract is with them. And I think Brady wanted to keep the band hardcore. I guess the rest of the band disagreed obviously. It's all about the Benjamin's and I can't blame em for selling out. When you have a big contract in front of you, 9 times out of 10 you're gonna sign it. Sorry for the long comment.
@@HailTheApocalypse I mean these guys grew up playing in multiple hxc bands, if they wanted to make shoegaze or anything else without incorporating any hardcore elements then they’d just start a new side project. I don’t see these guys completely dropping the hardcore sound even if it’s for 1 record. I think Turnstile is trying to push the boundaries of what it means to be a hardcore band. Every scene needs artists like this. We’re seeing the same thing happen to a band like knocked loose as well who’re also pushing the boundaries of what it means to be hardcore, but because they’re heavier than turnstile it’s a little more acceptable for hardcore fans. Point I’m tryna make here is that being a strictly hardcore band is only gonna limit you in the long run if your band is really ambitious
@@s_baby5076 yea your right. It'll get stale and boring doing the same thing so you have to step outside the box now and again. That's pretty much what hardcore originally was anyway. To do, say, and play what you want. I'm an old head and listened to a lot of Dead Kennedys and they had a lot of different elements looking back on their career. I got ya.

@@dollarsaurus01 it meant nothing. I was just throwing guesses in on what the next album will be like. It sounds stupid now that you called me out on it. Idc what they do. But idk how they're gonna put out anymore bangers with Brady out of the band. Brendan can write good songs too but Brady was the riff meister in the band.

Pretty much since since they booted Brady. I think they still don't have a permanent replacement.

I think Meg will become a permanent replacement as rhythm guitarist. If not, they need a replacement soon. They've been supporting the Glow On album for 2 and a half years now and need a new album. Though I think the next record will be interesting. It definitely won't be a 'hardcore' album.
I think that the following record will have Underwater - New Heart Design vibe... I don't know the previous contribution of Brady to make Glow On..
@@jesusdelarosa1204 I think Brady was the riff master of the group. So I kinda wanna agree that the next record will have the Underwater and NHD vibe. I don't think the current guitarists came come up with anything Brady brought to the table.

It's kinda sad they don't play much off of Pressure To Succeed, Step 2 Rhythm, and Nonstop Feeling. They kinda lost the HC feel to me
they sold out hard, and fast.

L. How do you watch this set and not think this looks fun af. Plenty of songs on glow on still creatively incorporate hardcore elements as well. Let the guys get their bread and grow their artistry. If you want the same sound over and over again damn near every other hxc band does that already😂

They been around since 2013ish, using their own original element, and a lot of them keep how fun the scene was, they still crowd surfing like crazy.

Awesome video! Respect to you for the edit! Videography is top notch as well! I posted a multi-cam of HOLIDAY using fan-sourced footage from 20 fans I contacted online. I’d love to include your footage for my full-set edit, but totally respect if you wouldn’t want to contribute your hard work to some random anonymous idiot online for his YT channel. Due to the nature of my video sourcing, the edits on my channel tend to have a more rough guerrilla style than the pro-shot feel of yours. In any case, I’m interested to discuss potential collaboration in some way. The quality of your camera work is impressive.
