Why would the feasibility study be done after the business case? The business case takes from the study that says it can be done, (proving it feasible) and then expands on the bankability of the project. I am lost. Please elaborate...
I was taught that the Feasibility Study/Analysis comes before the Business Case/Plan. This is because the Feasibility Study answers the initial questions of "Is this doable?" and "Is it profitable?" At that point, if the project is determined to be feasible, we can move on to the more detailed Business Case of planning and executing it.
Lindsay, I think maybe it's because what she meant by "Business Case" is the business idea behind the project; while what you mentioned with the same terminology is the business plan that comes after the feasibility study gets the approval. I've read the use of "pre-feasibility study" or "preliminary concept analysis" to call what she meant as well.
What about the product/service marketplace? A college professor linked this video as relevant course content and asked for a slide on product/service marketplace yet you skip over it. Why? Do you not even know why you wrote it up there?
