just recycle the parts from a used lcd tv, as long as it has hdmi or dvi or avi hookup it will work the same way for MUCH cheaper

Hello there, am assumimg ur an expert.... could you let me know if i can replace the projector LCD panel . with a full hd 1080p lcd screen on my UNIC UC40 which currently has a LCD panel with native resolution of 480x840( it is not working properly anymore). If i buy this 1080p lcd panel ,,is it possible to fix it on the same PCB ???? so can the circuit board and existing software support it ????? Thanks in advance for letting me know.

Hi, I bought the LS055R1SX04 after watching your video for my projector but it is very dim and not very transparent. I tried with a 100W LED and condenser --> fresnal --> LCD --> Fresnal --> Triplet and it is so very dim that the image can hardly be seen in a dark room. Does your lcd perform better? Do you think I have a bad screen? As it is, this is a very bad screen for projector. Any ideas what is wrong or is it just a bad LCD?
If you use 2k it needs as low as 280w or more
@@DIYIDN thanks for the reply. Considering most DIY projector projects are up to 100w then this lcd is very bad. Above 100w cooling becomes an issue.. Any recommendations on what a good alternative Lcd would be for 100w leds?

Hello there! I want to ask you about properties of TV-box... Yep, there are written at seller of Aliexpress that this LCD-kit does not support TV-Boxes. But i saw your video and think that this is real. I've bought this kit and can't simply connect to my TV-box. I have connection only trough Adapter&Display-port of my video card. But I want to use my little Android PC sometimes and do not turn on desktop. So what can you say about specific preferences or some thing like that about your TV-box connection?
it's just to know the condition of the LCD sir, if you really want to build a projector with LCD then use Raspberry Pi as a media player

Hello sir, planning to buy this set of board & lcd to make a diy projector. I just noticed that the light could hardly pass the 2k lcd, did you remove the polar film in the 2k display? Also im planning to upgrade my old 480p projector using this setup the problem is the lcd slot in the projector could only fit a maximum size of 5 inch Lcd. Could you recommend something like this but with minimum resolution of 720p?

Please explain how is this lcd good for DIY projector, when its not letting light on 3:37? I imagine it would be very dark projector... i have idea to DIY my old unic46 chinese projector and put some high dpi quality lcd instead 800x600crap inside, but i'm afraid this would be very dark...
It takes a minimum of 300w for 2k lcd, if you use leds below 300w don't expect good results

Kalo lcd hp agak susah gan,mesti beli TTL pin 40 sama 60 sesuai lcd hp nya trus pake driver universal harus di flash dulu ke resolusi sesuai lcd,resolusi lcd minimal 1024*800.

yes this is indeed good for raspberry, you can also ask the seller's store before buying, not all can use the tv box. but if for raspbery it is usually all suitable between 50 / 60hz
