      The context is a gorgeous machine, thanks for creating it. A tensor is high on my list of new pedals to acquire now.

    Great demo Leon. Closing the last 8+ minutes with that clean melody while tweaking ensures that it will be in my head for the remainder of the week. Not a criticism at all. It just makes me want to leave work, grab my guitar, and find a nice scenic area to sit and play for the next few years or so. I’ve never experimented with drugs before, and I rarely drink. But I think if I reclined in my favorite chair and played that on a loop for a few hours with all the various tweaks, some fucking bizarre visions would ensue. Thanks as always!

    That's a really cool pedal. I haven't heard of them before. When I bust out my pedals, instead of using what's in the AxeFx3 or Kemper, I'll use the Digitech Supernatural, which has some really awesome reverbs/delays to it. They have a shimmer one that really sounds good. Kinda hard to find on the net right now. Couldn't find it anywhere. I paid just over $100 US for it.

      It's hard to get a bad sound out of it. heard great things about the Supernatural, will have to keep my eyes open for one.

    Love it. The only pedals I own and ever use is an OD808 and a Shimmer Reverb for cleans. Great vid as usual!

    It can be a useful to put delays/reverbs before the speaker impulse or in between the pre and power blocks in the axefx which can avoid the polished studio sound (if that's what you want) because some reverbs can generate energy above say 8k even when you have lowpassed there

    I'm waiting for a post-metal/rock instrumental album now Leon... I *am* WAITING.

    Thinking about getting this one. I've always loved the sound of this pedal in videos. I recently heard it distorts too easily, though. Would you say that's the case? I'm hearing some distortion on the more extreme settings in this video. Is that the pedal?

      Thanks so much man. Mark series amps make me weak at the knees so i'd very much like that! Flick me an email Leontod@gmail.com and we can hook it up

    Man if this had spring instead of delay it would be absolutely perfect but I understand their decision considering a ton of amps have spring reverb already. I want this thing so badly

      I know this comment is 6 months old but the V2 has a spring mode, and midi, and STEREO :)

    Lovely tones! Admittedly I'm not not much of a pedal guy, But do employ a bit of amp reverb when a tone I like is thin! Great pedal and demonstration! Be Well Brother!

      It's a tasty pedal, the gated mode is great for adding fatness.

  • @luisreneventura
    @luisreneventura 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I think a gated reverb present block for the AX8 is in order now from you :) that sounds great and I think it would sound good live 👍

    • @LeonTodd
      @LeonTodd  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Axe needs non-linear verb, it would seriously complete the picture. Gated verb is something i'm working on ;)

    • @luisreneventura

      @@LeonTodd what is non linear reverb?

    • @shealeffler6147
      @shealeffler6147 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@luisreneventura gated and "reverse" reverbs. They're "nonlinear" because they act in response to your signal, and so they can't be captured with an impulse response like real spaces can. ("Nonlinear" has a more specific meaning than just that, but the fact they do depend on your signal like that is a key part of what makes them mathematically nonlinear in my understanding.)

    • @LeonTodd
      @LeonTodd  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sean pretty much nailed it. Non-linear verbs process each incoming signal discretely, as opposed to a reverb + gate combination. I'll have something up soon.
