Hogwarts Legacy is an action role-playing game in which players are able to attend classes at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Locations from the Wizarding World franchise will be explorable such as the Forbidden Forest, Diagon Alley, and Hogsmeade. During character creation the player is able to choose their appearance, house, and gender. Players will be able to customize their character's voice, body type and add accessories such as glasses in character creation. Level progression will allow the player to access and upgrade different spells, talents, and abilities.
Hogwarts Legacy is set in the 1890s and follows a student starting at Hogwarts in the fifth year. As the player is starting at the school later than other students, a wizards field guide is given by the Ministry of Magic. Completing sections of this guide through exploration provides additional information and experience points. The player character, who holds the key to an "ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart", is capable of manipulating a mysterious ancient magic, and will need to help uncover why this forgotten magic has suddenly made a resurgence and the ones that are simultaneously trying to harness it. - เกม

I like that when learning spells they make you actually do the correct wand movement to unlock it. Its not just a cheap puzzle, you are actually using the motions required to cast that spell.
You can see this when your character uses levioso on the feather. The wand movement matched the puzzle.
Reminds me of Arx Fatalis, but you have to make the motion every time you cast.
It seems like a less difficult version of the first harry potter game for pc. You had to move your cursor through the magic pattern to fill it in, and as you progressed the game allowed less and less mistakes. I remember it being impossible as a kid 😅
Edit: You also had a timer, so you couldn't take it to slow.
@@btnhstillfire I wish they would do a VR of this game! How cool would it be to actually have to move your hand when you're casting the first cast of a spell? I know it would be awesome if they can get it right!
@@Rurix48 i would have liked this version in the hogwards llegavy game, or at least a way to choose the difficulty of the wand movemetns to unlock new spells, to me its too easy

I don’t have a next gen console at the moment so I couldn’t play the game on release, but we use to watch your channel all the time. I refrained from watching any other video of this game on TH-cam, so that I can enjoy Brad's video in an episodic manner. I love this format of his.
Man I can't believe how much detail they managed to put into this so far, nearly every student we've seen so far seems to have a small interaction available I know I'll definitely spend a few hours listening to every students voicelines, and maybe a few more petting the cat thing! Already incredible with typical movie pacing too for the beginning portion it feels just like another movie at hogwarts and I'm halfway expecting to see Harry and the gang appear at any moment either in trouble or causing it 🤣 😆

Usually the person either doesnt talk at all which in a way is kind of creepy and lonely feeling for the viewers or they talk too much, over voice lines and important parts of the game.
